The longest conversation in the history of this thread was about muffins and crumpets.....not sure if that is a riveting commentary on the state of us, or indicative of some type of pathology.......

Given all the discussion of the differences between English and American muffins, what is considered a scone and what is considered a crumpet, etc., I have a question for the UK/Commonwealth Litsters, what do you call this:

If a biscuit across the pond is what we would call a cookie, what do you call our biscuits?

Additional questions:

Why is an insect called a Ladybird?

I'll add another - why is the trunk of a car called a trunk here, and a boot there? There's no boots or trunks involved.

Did you get any touch ups? Mine is starting to peel now. I was chasing the girly around with Purple flower last night lol

No. Mine is peeling too. It's normal. I went for something else I'll discuss with you off-line. He said you get life time free touch ups...just means you'll have to keep coming back to visit.
