rail strike - simple answer.

I didn't read that crap beyond the first sentence. It's right there. The Republicans voted against it. Who the hell do you think you're fooling? You are a seditious loser backing seditious losers.

That is a given. There are way more dynamics that play than that. The fact remains. That did not mandated as contract law. Why do choose to be a disingenuous ass?
In 2015 Obama gave an Executive Order giving federal contractors paid sick leave. An order that specifically excluded railway workers, who otherwise would have qualified.
Whats the odds?
Biden could‘ve given an executive order giving railway workers paid sick days. But he didn’t.
This is Fascism.
There’s one party in the United States and that party is beholden to the Corporations.
Everyone wants to argue left vs right, Republican and Democrat.
There Is no left in this country. They are both pro war, pro corporations, and they are both corrupted from top to bottom.
Were all slaves and we will continue to be slaves as long as we’re divided.
A much clearer version of the current situation than most present. Sadly. Ralph Nader was right.

If you are replying to me, what the hell do you mean by seditious? Do you think I somehow ever voted for a GOP member besides my first state representative back in 76 named Tom Coleman. He actually wrote a letter to the editor of the Kansas City star advocating the removal of Trump by the senate after the first impeachment. I would say my judgment was pretty good there I didn’t even vote for Thomas Eagleton. Even though he probably was a decent signature I knew he was a corporate tool. That’s what happens when you don’t read past the first sentence. Out of context and mistaken assumptions.

The naïveté displayed there is on a level I can’t comprehend. Undecided as to its strength. Hilarity, or Contempt.

democrats will argue all day until they move in the face of fascism is better than Despotism. I guess they’re right, oh boy. For the 10,000th time, morality is not transactional.

It's strange to see Biden as the Union Buster.
Yeah, President Biden and the Democrats who negotiated a 25% pay increase and voted for 7 days sick leave for the railroad workers , only to have the sick days blocked by EVERY Senate Republican and ONE DINO, are the union busters.

GMAFB

🤣

Since when are Brandon and the Democrats "union" negotiators?

Oh look, Harpy is splitting hairs. (Poorly)

The cuck better be careful or it will wind up with a split dick.

🤣

The union members voted and said no. Biden said, "Getcher asses back to work!"

Very Reaganesq.

This ^ in the face of a strike that would cripple the economy at an extremely critical moment domestically and internationally.

And AGAIN, President Biden and ALL Democrats (Manchin isn’t really a Democrat) supported / voted FOR givIng the railroad workers 7 sick days, only to have ALMOST EVERY Republican vote AGAINST the 7 sick days.

Now tell me again who the union busters are???

Never mind, I’ll tell you: It’s the republicans; same as it ever was.

*nods*

Lol, you're so sure of yourself you miss the actual facts which slap you in the face. And it happens every time.

The contract disagreement is required by law to go before a "presidential board" which reviews the current contract, the new demands made by the RR union, and creates a new contract which the board forces onto the union. The members of the board are appointed by the President.

THAT BOARD is the entity which dropped the sick days from the new contract.

So much for your vaunted political acuity.

It's fun seeing Biden doing so well in the face of Republican sedition.

Harpy is so ignorant.

If the REPUBLICAN Senators hadn’t BLOCKED the 7 sick days, the railroad workers would have got them.

Full stop.

🇺🇸

You really are an ignorant fuck head.

Out of the twelve major unions, eight supported the agreement, four rejected it, but all of them vowed to stand in solidarity should a strike occur. With Biden’s pro-union acumen unable to break the deadlock, Congress was asked to settle this dispute, which included the Presidential Emergency Board’s recommendation that sick leave be omitted from the new agreement. And yes, Biden selects who sits on the PEB...

https://townhall.com/tipsheet/mattv...ic-partys-narrative-on-labor-dispute-n2616695

“The 'most labor-friendly president in history' has proven that he and the Democratic Party are not the friends of labor they have touted themselves to be," reads another part of the release. "These wolves in sheep’s clothing have for decades been in bed with corporate America and have allowed them to continue chipping away at the American middle class and organized labor."

BTW, Manchin isn't a "Republican" and he voted against the bill. On the other hand 7 Republicans DID vote for it. So your premise that it was the R's who are to blame for it not passing, is not only wrong, it's a blatant lie.
