Rage, the gay club in mass.

Ok. While i was up at college I was a "fag hag" (they gay guys i hung out with gave me this name so i didn't make it up, don't get mad at me, on the whole it means a female who's friends with all gay men)
My friends would always drag me to this little gay club in Worchester, Mass. called Rage. It was fun the first 2 or 3 times (i'm bisexual) but i sorta noticed that there was a very very large ammount of gay men and maybe 8 lesbians... and those lesbians werne't that attractive, were all bunched together in their own little clique, and half the time they were over 40 (not that that's bad but i'm 18... i'd like to find someone arround my own age to associate with in that setting)

so my question is: If there's so many lesbians and bisexual females why can't i find them when i go out?

females shoudl go to the clubs too and flame along with the men... it's fun!@# you can dance and schmooze and stuff...
maybe it's just Mass.

ALSO something i noticed.. gay men still like breasts... All the gay men i've encountered will like to touch a female's breasts if he can.. and if he's drunk he's 10x more likely to do it and like it.

Why don't I go out to the clubs? It's tough when you have a kid, hon. Life starts to get in the way sometimes.

Maybe it's a cultural thing too. I don't claim to be an insider of lesbian culture, because quite frankly I've never really had a chance to explore it, but from what I've seen, it seems gay men are more into the club scene than gay women. I know a number of gay women who never go out but the handful of gay men I've come to know all go out. Maybe that's just incorrect conclusions drawn from too small of a sample group, or then again, maybe that's just central Illinois. We have three gay bars in town here, but all cater to men, with pics of nearly nude guys on the walls and such. Not surprisingly, I've never visited any of them more than once, and two of them I just dropped into on weekday afternoons out of curiosity. I admit I haven't been to any in several years, though. I suppose they could have changed by now.

And don't go discounting those older women, by the way. I'm deeply involved with a woman who's 21 years my senior. She's absolutely lovely, a perfect complement to my personality, and devastatingly skillful in bed.

Hah! My ex-roomate used to do that ALL the time. He'd grab them in the grocery store, he'd grab them while we were playing Playstation, he'd grab them in the car. He'll he would grab them at the club while mackin' it on hot guys. He was obsessed with my boobs and he never could really explain why. He said "They're mushy and I like them".

That isn't always an option, glamorilla. There are plenty of places around the country (hell, around the world) where there are opportunities for gay men to get together, but gay women are nowhere to be found.

Hell, DC is an example. There were two dyke bars in the city, and now one (Hung Jury) is closing (Phase One is the other). If it weren't for the very popular women's night (Saturdays) at Apex, there wouldn't be options left in the nation's capital.

A coworker and I went to a local gay club to dance, and I did notice that 3 or 4 of her gay friends wanted to touch my breasts. I let them.

i have spent a goodly portion of my adult life in and around the gay club scene...and honestly i have noticed that there does seem to be way more gay guys out then gay women. Usually, though, the clubs i go to have a night specifically for the ladies. I think for most females when they wanna party they do it at home...not out and about.
As for the breast thing...i have never been touched in that way by a gay male...hugs and kisses yes...groping...no!! And i have a very healthy rack so twould not be hard to grope!!

In hagerstown...we have H2O ( formerly headquarters) and another place (which CRANKS on the weekend) called DEER PARK (mixed pretty well on thursday and friday)...

Yeah, I've noticed that there are so few lesbian bars/clubs that it's sad. SAD SAD SAD


However, if you're in MA go to Manray on thurs and sat and you've got a good shot. I know there's also a lesbian club, but I'm blanking on it's name. I just don't club very much anymore...and when I do it's not to pick up chicks.

In hagerstown...we have H2O ( formerly headquarters) and another place (which CRANKS on the weekend) called DEER PARK (mixed pretty well on thursday and friday)...

Thanks for mentioning those two, never heard of them! Are they worth the trip to Hagerstown?

Hung Jury is only going to be open a little bit longer, if it hasn't closed already. It's at 18th and H Streets NW (near Pennsylvania Ave), here's a map. It's kind of tucked into an alley, but there's a small sign visible from the street.

Phase One is also near Penn Ave, but it's on 8th Street SE. (I'm not a fan of Southeast, personally, and once a couple of years back there were gunshots through the Phase One door - nobody was hurt.) Here's a map for them. It's an older crowd, mostly.

Liquid Ladies is held at Apex, which is in Dupont Circle. (Apex used to be called the Badlands, but they've changed the name.) Here's the map. LL is on Saturday nights and doesn't usually pick up until around midnight, though my gf and I have only been a couple of times.
