I'm helping out an author editing a cross-dressing gay male story. I'm just wondering if there is a term that is in common usage in erotic stories when writing about men dressed as women. The author called them girls but in a note she sent with the story she wondered if she should have used gurls. I have no idea and would be grateful for some guidance.

To be honest there is no definitive answer, and will vary depending on the country the story is set and and the context. My female friends always refer to me as one of the girls, some CD's call us gurls, some call us trannys or tvs, some call us laydees.

I think it probably doesn't not matter which is used as long as its used consistently in the story. People themselves will generally stick to the same one term whenever they refer to cds :rose::kiss:
