question about pubic hair

I am an 18 year old female with a big problem. I am hoping someone can tell me if I'm normal. I looked all over the internet for an answer but can't seem to find one. This is my last hope.

I am a virgin. Not because men don't want to have sex with me. But it's because I won't let them because of hair that I have that goes from my belly button to my pubic hair. I have very dark hair so it's very noticable and it's very thick.

I have seen pictures of naked woman and I don't see this on them. Am I weird? Am I more male than female? Does anyone else have this? If so, do men like it? How can I get rid of it? I don't want to shave because won't it come back darker and thicker?

Can anyone tell me if I'm a freak because of this? I can't ask my mother. She won't talk about periods let alone pubic hair. I can't ask my friends because I don't want them thinking I'm weird.

You're not weird. Some women are hairier than others. I think it's called a "happy trail." If you want to get rid of it try Nad's (ouch) which is like waxing but you can buy it OTC and it's cheap and easy...or go have it waxed. You won't be the first...but I do have friends with said hair and they nor their lovers are bothered by it. Good luck to ya, hope it helps...and quit worrying, you'll probably encounter lots of men who think it's sexy.

Sweetheart, any man who wants you isn't going to care about that. Trim it up really good, or if you want to get rid of it all together, get a professional wax. Don't do it yourself. You can bruise your skin really bad if you don't know what you're doing.

You can also try a product called "Magic." It's a depilatory cream and you will find it in the men's shaving section of your local Wal Mart or Target. Be very careful to read the instructions and follow them to the "T." Also, do NOT get this product anywhere near your inner labia. It's a harsh chemical that desolves the hair, and it will burn your more sensitive skin.

Please remember that nobody is perfect. Even those models you see are airbrushed.

Why on earth would you want to be "normal" Normal doesn't exist anyway -- it's a mathematical fiction.

How thick and dark the hair grows back depends on how you remove it. A single edged razor makes a square cut on the end of the hair right at the surface that will result in "five o'clock shadow." A double or triple edge razor will make a tapered cut that makes the regrowth a bit less obvious. They also shave "closer" so "five o'clock shadow" isn't as big a problem.

A depilitory, like Nair, Epilstop, or (Literotica's "official" depilitory,) Magic Shave, dissolves (or kills) the hair at the root so it doesn't grow back for ten to fourteen days. When it does grow back, it's softer and finer than the full growth.

Waxing is another option -- if youdon't mind ripping hair out by the roots. It reportedly lasts about the same or a bit longer than depilitories.

Different doesn't equate to "freak." The pattern of pubic hair you have is not that of the majority, but it is by no means strange or freakish.

Not all men will appreciate your pubic hair, but some would be terribly upset that you'd even consider removing it. There is a very wide range of tastes when it comes to pubic hair (or hairy legs/armpits.) If one man doesn't like it, then dump him and find one who does like it.

Be proud of who and what you are, and ignore those who don't think you're special.

You must be watching those high class porn movies. The ones we have been getting must be on a pretty tight budget because I have seen more pimples on asses and thighs then I care to think about. How expensive it is to get a cover up stick??? $4.99 at the local Walgreens. Yuck! Some things NEED to be airbrushed. Just wish I could use one of those machines on my own body.

I've always heard it called a "Treasure Line". I have one...it's not abnormal nor are you more male than female. Wax it if it bothers you that much. Otherwise leave it alone and tell the first person who gives you shit about it that they can now go masterbate alone because there are plently of men out there that love following the "treasure line" down to the treasure
