I agree with your boyfriend. It's more of a hoot than an embarrassment. I've had women queef and we've gotten a good laugh. Please don't be embarrassed. As the previous poster said, it should be a sign of being "well fucked". In some cultures in this world, it's a complement to the cook to belch after eating for the same reason. Go figure. Now the other sort of fart, that can be a different and less pleasant issue.
