Psychic connection and sex?

I've been married for almost 11 years. I've posted about my marriage, but to summarize we started out with a great marriage. Then for a number of years after the kids came along my wife had no sex drive and it was a very stressful time for our marriage. A few months ago she got off the pill completely, and now her sex drive is fabulous. We've gone from sex twice a month to sex two or three times a week. She's either initiating or she goes from dry to delightfully wet in 60 seconds. It's like the sex fairy came and left us a present to make up the the dry times. I'm not talking about "just" great hot sex, but the kind of sex that makes you feel connected and leaves you feeling like you've just shared your soul. Bad explanation but it's the best I can do at this point.

My wife and I have been noticing lately that the more intense sex we have, the more 'psychicly connected' we are. I'll be picking up the phone to call her and find out that she's calling me. I'll call her to say, "can you stop at xyzzy and get something for me?" and she'll tell me that she's 1/2 block from there. I'll call her to ask her to do something and she'll say, "I was just doing that!"

Is it just being married almost 11 years, or is it the sex? Is this where we start looking the same too?

I'd say it's a little of both. Having been married for 11 years, you'd obviously pick up on each other's habits, likes and dislikes. The improvements in your sex life have brought you two closer together, and I think that would cause you to start acting on your knowledge of the other person more. To clarify, I'd say that your intimacy in the bedroom is translating to the rest of your lives and more apt to act as a couple, instead of as individuals. Some people never connect on so deep a level, and it's great to hear that you were able to renew your passion in each other.

Um, yep exactly what Lynxie said, you have reconnected, all the knowledge is there, and you are both in tune with each other. It's a great feeling.
