Technically, it wasn't Russian, but Ukrainian. They wish to build another. They have most of another one sitting in storage. Its a long way from done, but it could be finished.

there are several You Tube videos of the crew flying the plane all over the world. It was a very professional crew and did some amazing things while it was around.

there's a lot of stuff on the internet about the Sea Dart and why the program was cancelled. YouTube has several videos about it and Wikipedia has info, there's info about it in museums, several history pages that deal with jet fighter development, and lots of other places, too. So yea, probably a lot of people knew.

Every once in awhile I could see those from Vandenberg AFB when I was a kid. Especially if the launch was in the evening.
