I was having breakfast sitting on the edge of my hospital bed when a nurse came into my room to take a blood sample. Remembering that I had had to fast prior to a blood test a few years earlier, I asked her if it was all right for her to take a sample while I was eating. "Not to worry," she reassured me, "this is a blood and breakfast establishment."

Hey Kayte....I'm keeping my eye on the storm just as I'm sure you are too, dollface! I hate this kind of weather, I used to LOVE it...but now that it's hard to get around in, and the fear of falling has taken some of the joy out of it. I know you can relate hon. Kinda sucks hey? But one has to admit....ther beauty of it is absolutely breathtaking!!! Please be careful out there, luv....

I'm moving around alot better and I seem to have more stamina. Not sure who knew it besides Kayte and 69 and a few others.., but I spent the past 5 days house and Horse sitting for my sisters boyfriend (we're thinking and hoping that will change to "brother in law" status real soon )...the morning chores consisted of feeding and watering the horses, and all the babies. Altho it took me alot longer than it would the normal person, it all went very well. I was careful to make extra trips and not try to carry too much. I busted up the hay bales into lots of chunks so I could carry it. Anyhow, w/o getting into too much detail, I handled it well. And I am positive I was able to do that because the epidural is working. I'm starting to think that my goal to be back to work by mid feb. just may become a reality..so keep your fingers crossed please? It would be awesome to get back to my job, even if it would only be part time. I need to feel normal and productive again. This not working stuff is killin me, in so many ways. So...thats it! Thanks to all of you for your well wishes...I've said it before and I'll say it again..you guys are THE BEST!!!!

Well look at you go girl!!! {{{{{{{{{{{{{{{{{Jazey}}}}}}}}}}}}}}}}}}}, guess what girl, I'm a granny now...lol....he weighed in at 8 lbs 5 ozs and was 21 1/2 inches long.....he'a a big boy and he's beautiful, I never knew I could have so much love for someone other than my children......

Any way, back to work huh....wow....I'm so happy you are doing so well hon, it does my heart good to know you are doing so much better, I gotta go get some more sleep for my j-o-b.....but just wanted to let you know I'm thinking of ya'
