I changed my email address under my registered user name in my profile and now I cannot post or PM or much else? How lond do I have to wait until the email issue has been resolved and I can post again under my registered name?

I'm not exactly sure......but have been told that its about 24 hours. I'm not sure if its any different for a weekend??

I had this happen to me to when I changed my email adress. You have to wait for lit to send you an email and then you have to reply to it before you can post anything on the boards. They just need you to confirm your address.

I'm not sure I understand why this is a problem for some people and not for others. I recently changed my e-mil address, and the whole process took about 15 minutes, including replying to the confirmtion e-mail. I continued to post while waiting for the automated confirmation e-mail.

I suggest you add Lit to your "Trusted Sites Zone" on your internet options security tab, and enable cookies. When youget logged in, change your user CP options so both cookie otions are enabled. With that setup, I haven't had login problems for the nearly three years I've been here.

Sending an E-mail from the new address to webmaster@literotica.com with a title of LOGIN PROBLEMS AFTER ADDRESS CHANGE and explaining the sequence of events and the problem is your best bet at this point.

Sometimes all it takes is requesting the confirmation email 3 or 4 times.

That is what I do each time I change my email address.
