How to respond to email feedback

Hi Everyone,
I often get feedback that comes through not as a PM on the Lit site but to my email address as Feedback from a reader via Lit site. My question is, how can I respond to that person? It says "do not reply" to this email, which is good, I do not want to send anything from my personal email address. The reader has included their email address ... but is there a way to message them on the Lit site with just their email address? Or to find their username to PM them with just their email address they provided?

I've looked through the forums on this but wasn't able to find an answer.

Appreciate any help,
thanks
Erin

You could search for that litster and message them back through the same channel.

I have replied to the emails they provide and 9 times out of ten they bounceback as being not real addresses anyway.

Not sure how to find them with just an email address.
There's no feature to make this possible. It would completely depend on whether they've deliberately posted their email address for the public to see.

And they might not have a Lit profile anyway. Anonymous people can use that email feedback form.

I had the same question. Someone took the time to write and provide useful feedback via email through this site, and I can't figure out to how to reply and thank them (without exposing my real email address).

I think most writers set up a separate email address that they use for correspondence and accounts, to maintain their privacy. It's easy to set up a (mostly) anonymous email account on Gmail or protonmail or a few other services!

Thank you. That I will do. I was just hoping this site had their own way of routing email. Thanks again!
