Hi, I've been trying to bring a story I wrote over on another website over here, the story is titled Gift of the Succubus, and Chapter 1 & Chapter 2 were up for about a couple weeks, than sent back, claiming I was not the original author. I don't know how to prove that I am infact the original author, because, well, I am. I original published it under a different email than I use now, but I still have access to the old email so I am able to verify that much atleast. Would verifying the email be enough to verify it is my piece of work? Or is something else needed? Please let me know.

Thank you

The best thing to do in these situations is to get in touch with @Laurel. She runs the story side of things here.

In the upper right-hand corner of your screen you'll see an envelope. This lets you start conversations with members. Type "Laurel" in the Recipients field, and explain your situation.

You might get a reply, you might not. She might just publish your stories without replying. Either way, she's the only person who can help.

Good luck!

PS If you have other questions about publishing here in general, you're more likely to get a quick reply in the Authors' Hangout. It might not always be the reply you want, and your thread will probably go off the rails after half a dozen replies, but the people there are generally friendly and helpful.

Erm, is there another option perchance? I sent a request in two weeks ago.

If the stories have been sent back, I'd resubmit them and argue your case that you're the author - however you think you can do that.

By "different email" I assume you mean, it was also different account name?

Provide both the original account name and the earlier email address. That should be enough to link both accounts together as the same person - since only you and the site would know the first email address.
