You are. Just being honest here, because I know how hard it is for anybody to see themselves clearly. And chris's response is the exact way I would have responded to some man coming on to me, if I thought he was super attractive. I would be certain he just wanted to set me up with some expectations only to knock me down and laugh derisively at my need or desire for him.

That's a problemic attitude to have because I don't find too many physically attractive men...atttractive, if you know what I mean. But I still have this response to men when their personalities attract me. So I don my armor and do the unemotional, unresponsive ice princess thing until they get bored and go away.

This is getting a little embarassing, but I'm honestly not fishing. I think I have a pretty realisitc self image. I used to be really fat, so my confidence is pretty high, but all in all I don't think I'm the best looking guy around.

I have a unique look and I play it up by dressing well. My body isn't that great (for a 23 year old), and being racially ambiguous hurts me in unsophisticaed crowds as much as it helps me in more exotic ones.

All in all, I don't think I'm on that incredible level of hot where I should be intimidating the women I try to speak to. I generally try to talk to the hottest girls I can find anyway. I think I might simply carry myself with a calm swagger that screams "I am so much better than all this children shit. Come away with me and let me show you what the big kids do for fun."

Some girls just don't want to leave their friends behind.

Lauderdale bars are real lame. I would go to Miami more often but the drive back at 4am is a bitch, and worse if you've had a little to drink. Plus, one night stands are not an option unless you get a hotel, which isn't cheap. Even just taking a girl's number it's probably not going to be in my area code.

Cause " sex toy" in italian has sometimes not the same meaning than in english, its more a " sex bomb " thing ..... lol ( I would like to see his face when he will realize what he wrote !)

However I pretty have your same concerns about "Italian Masters".... :rolleyes: :)

I really like dark men, the darker the better (my bf is the typical German though...). So I like your look. :)
And being 23 myself, and having lots of friends around the same age, your kind of body certainly is not seen very often!
I can understand that being 'different' in any way hurts in certain areas. Hell, I have a friend half Persian, when we go out we sometimes don't even get into any clubs, because he looks foreign. :mad:
I can see though that the way you carry yourself can be quite intimidating. It isn't always necessarily some 'sterile' model type of beauty that scares those around you, but more probably your whole charisma.

This thread isn't for cute men, this is for "hot" men, so by all means post what you like. :)

Eyes can be windows to the soul, I agree, but I and others I know have been easily deceived by them before, because of our tendency to "project" into an interesting pair of eyes that which we want to see there, rather than what is actually behind them, lol. But this thread is all about projection, and having fun doing so :)
