Poll Which do you prefer

LOL. Goes back to what I said in my reply. You CAN make non-con hot. Really hot, but in the end, some readers won't like it regardless.
Sorry Chloe, but no you can't....
A woman being forced into prostitution can never be "Hot."
Forced into a life of slavery. Sold to the dregs of society as a sex toy....
Her life destroyed... In no universe is that "Hot,"

Just my opinion...

He sounded pretty serious. I've seen similar blackmail questions and scenarios elsewhere here.
I said the OP was inane. Ridicule was the appropriate response.
It was like Sophie's Choice šŸ˜•

In the meantime, people here have posted that something morally repugnant (like being forced into prostitution) CANNOT be hot. That's complete rubbish, confusing what people OUGHT to find hot with what they actually find hot.

The desire to be abused, or to abuse others, is hot for a lot of people. It's at the core of the non-consent category.

Boss: "Mrs Mousie, your mistake has cost this company tens of thousands!"
Mrs Mousie: "I'm so sorry! I'll do anything to make it right!"
Boss: "I'll have to make a note in your file. This could have consequences for future promotions."
Mrs Mousie: "Anything! I suppose you'll want me to earn back the money."
Boss: "No, just-"
Mrs Mousie: "Prostitute me to clients and prospects. You monster, you pervert!"
Boss: "Really, I just-"
Mrs Mousie: "Make me do all manner of depraved things. Whore me out until I've repaid every penny and more."
Boss: "At most I'd cut your pay but-"
Mrs Mousie: "Dress me in leather and strap me to your desk during meetings. Make me suck you off under your desk."
Boss: "You know, perhaps we should forget-"
Mrs Mousie: "List my body under the company's assets. Treat me like your property. Well, do what you will, but I ask you this: which of us is the depraved one?"
Boss: "I think I'll leave now. Please stop undressing-"
Mrs Mousie: "Monster! Treating a decent woman as your personal whore!"

As if I didn't have enough plot bunnies already...

(Note: this is clearly intended as an absurd joke. I'm not making light of anyone's issues with non-con or blackmail.)

if you find a person. A human being being forced into a life of enforced sexual slavery. Then perhaps it is not me that has the problem.... Think about it ...
If you were forced into a life of being nothing more than a slave . How happy would you be???
Not very I suggest.

Actually, unless the master is a sadistic maniac, many would prefer , literally or figuratively, the comfort and lack of responsibility that slavery offers.

If you interested, you can read Nietzsche's On the Genealogy of Morals (1887), particularly the First Essay: ā€œGood and Evil,ā€ ā€œGood and Bad,ā€ where he discusses the idea of people who prefer to be ā€œslaves.ā€

He observes that some people actively embrace weakness or servitude, seeing it as virtuous.

He calls this a ā€œslave revolt in moralityā€: the weak invert values, celebrating submission, patience, and suffering.

These individuals may prefer safety, predictability, and moral approval over freedom and self-determination.

He writes about how the weak create values that make their subjugation seem noble or good. In this sense, some people ā€œpreferā€ being slaves because it aligns with their moral worldview and psychological comfort.

<political>

Subservience and humility are the basis of most major religions. That's why almost every type of government from the dawn of time has embraced religion and sometimes even inserted it into laws and constitutions.

</political>

Just saying that some people are naturally inclined towards subservience, sexual or otherwise. For some, the burden of making big decisions about their life, about morality, about right and wrong, is too much, so they want to relinquish the burden and put it in someone else's hands.

None of the above.

No force.

No coercion.

No manipulation of any kind.
I agree "no force", even maybe feel "no coercion" , but "no manipulation"? Then we write only fantasy?
I've never been in a relationship where somebody wasn't being manipulated. Usually me.

Never argued that point.
I'm sure there are people Relishing their life in servitude.
My argument is for those forced into it against their will. For the most part, I think it is fair to accept. People involuntarily compelled into acts of depravity prostituted, their very lives at risk every day would feel revolted and defiled. Their lives destroyed having to live out a nightmare day after day.
They are the people I argued for....

That my friend can never be "Hot."

Just my opinion of course.

That may or may not be true...
The thread discusses a person blackmailed into prostitution. Not somebody choosing it...
My argument is. For that person... A human being it can never be "Hot." Many choose death instead of that option.

But even in this extreme scenario, there’s always a way out, as harsh as it may sound: one can always choose death over eternal torture...

My personal taste aligns with yours in this case. The "forced" part is a deal breaker for me.

But there are also those who specifically enjoy the "forced" part the most. For some, it's the ultimate turn-on. Otherwise, NonCon wouldn't have been so popular with readers and authors.

Without reading all of the responses, maybe the possibility of the blackmailed pimp-husband and Prostitue-wife turning the tables on the blackmailer, might appeal to the burn-the-blackmailer crowd. I'm still hung up on @Balliwick.

This reads like a Michael Lynch version of Fight Club's Edward vs Boss.

Could we get Marion Cotillard to play Mrs Mousie?

The idea of being "forced" to do something morally repugnant or contrrary to our principles (like have sex with a sibling/parent, or charging for sex with multiple strangers) is important. Part of the thrill is presumably the release from the responsibility you feel when you act out of free will -- free will is a heavy burden for some people.

So, for example, a story where a woman is "made" to become a hooker (and let's face it, most prostitutes probably did not have that profession as a lifelong ambition, so in a way, the majority of them were "forced" into it, by circumstances outside of their control) , offers an escape in the reader from the feelings of guilt that accompany their "bad" desire to humilate/be humiliated.
OF COURSE actually forcing someone into prostitution is abhorrent. It's like rape. But we all have feelings of revenge, and guilt, a desire to humiliate, punish and also to be punished, and non-consent stories are a way of relieving ourselves of these toxic feelings.

"Prisons are built with stones of Law, Brothels with bricks of Religion" - William Blake, "The Proverbs of Heaven and Hell," around 1790 I believe.

Why don’t they just watch Belle de Jour together and call it a day?

If it’s important to you, they could all watch it on the marital bed.

[Edit: your first three responses haven’t gone very well for you here. You might want to try this on the general forum instead?]
Thanks for your reply!

I've been thinking about this and I kinda like the idea of a series of stories where at first she thinks she's acting on the sly but then it turns out that the husband has known all along. I don't even imagine him being forced to act as her pimp but doing it willingly - perhaps even ultimately being the source of the information being used to blackmail her in the first place.
Thanks for your reply!

I don't know what category this would fit in, but I want to read this story/series. Mrs. Mousie repeatedly defrauding companies for thousands of dollars to fund...honestly whatever Mrs. Mousie wants to fund. Could be a stamp collection for all I care. And then getting away with it in this way with one boss after the next.

Without her husband knowing.. preferably she has her biggest orgasm when he finally stumbles into her fucking someone he hates and she can’t stop from cumming 🄵
