How would you successfully live that double life without being discovered?
You'd need to make it clear that thr stakes were high. The blackmailer has something on her that would result in significant jail time, losing her husband and kids in the process... etc.
If it's small potatoes then the whole story falls apart.

I think that @SimonDoom has hit the trope nail on the head. Being forced to sneak around to pay ransom to some jerkwad is a dish best served for one, leaving the husband clueless and blameless. A few questions spring to mind: what is she being blackmailed over, and does she love her husband more than life? If so, is this issue she's being blackmailed over big enough to end them? Or is it possible she's being forced to do this to protect the husband from some misdeed of his own? That'd be the best thing; it's all the hubby's fault.

And here I'll go back to., there's endless variations and permutations and plot tricks and things you can do with that basic plot.

It all boils down to how well you can write it to get into the readers head. You can make ANY scenario hot if you want and you can write....really, this is just one more kink to explore. It's easy to make it hot for a reader who likes that particular kink.

NOW - make it hot for the reader who DOESN'T like the kink.

Her doing it on the sly sounds more interesting, and it brings more opportunities for a lot of conflict. If it was my story, I'd throw in a twist that flips the roles, and turns this relationship between her and the blackmailer into a game of cat and mouse that keeps turning more intriguing by the scene.

Ultimately it's up to you to decide. If you're still having doubts, I'd suggest to find a way to combine both ideas.

I read multiple stories where women, unwillingly, rented themselves out, including doing things differently, that their husbands couldn't help but to notice, such as keeping their pussy shaved or waxes so that it was hairless. And then had to come up with a reason that her husband would buy. If I can find it, I might post it here.

Are you writing for readers? Both, depending on the reader(s)

I'm writing a story with precisely these scenarios, except there's no blckmail and the husband isn't forced to act as her pimp. Really, it absolutely depends on HOW you write it, and you will find readers for either or both scenarios. Sleaze? Porn? Erotica? Romantic? It can be any of those and more. It all depends on you as a writer and you can make either or both as hot as you care to.

Neither is hotter in and of itself. It's all in the reader(s) head and it's up to you to draw the word pictures that suck them in and blow their socks off.

Writing skills, dude. Writing skills.

I'd suggest you look at it from a different perspective. What is hotter to you? You're the one writing the story, and there are people in this forum that write in one or more of the dozens of categories this site offers. You're kind of walking into an ice-cream shop and shouting, 'Hey, what's the best flavor?'(Dark chocolate with Heath Bar mixed in, BTW.)

This advice has been given many times by many writers, you should write for yourself. That's when you'll get the truest version of the story you want to tell.

If you're asking in general, you probably want the General Board or another of the subforums. If you're asking us as writers, be prepared for a heated debate about the Loving Wives and Non-Consent categories, their readers, voting patterns, viewing numbers, comments and probably a few other factors.

I've been thinking about this and I kinda like the idea of a series of stories where at first she thinks she's acting on the sly but then it turns out that the husband has known all along. I don't even imagine him being forced to act as her pimp but doing it willingly - perhaps even ultimately being the source of the information being used to blackmail her in the first place.
