Part of the thrill is presumably the release from the responsibility you feel when you act out of free will -- free will is a heavy burden for some people.

So, for example, a story where a woman is "made" to become a hooker (and let's face it, most prostitutes probably did not have that profession as a lifelong ambition, so in a way, the majority of them were "forced" into it, by circumstances outside of their control) , offers an escape in the reader from the feelings of guilt that accompany their "bad" desire to humilate/be humiliated.
OF COURSE actually forcing someone into prostitution is abhorrent. It's like rape. But we all have feelings of revenge, and guilt, a desire to humiliate, punish and also to be punished, and non-consent stories are a way of relieving ourselves of these toxic feelings.

I've been thinking about this and I kinda like the idea of a series of stories where at first she thinks she's acting on the sly but then it turns out that the husband has known all along. I don't even imagine him being forced to act as her pimp but doing it willingly - perhaps even ultimately being the source of the information being used to blackmail her in the first place.
