Polar Vortex vs Solar Vortex

I have to go to Baltimore today.

I may blow it off because... it's Baltimore.

Yeah, it was once a vibrant place until it was wrecked by regulation and Big Government bureaucrats.

They used to make shit there (you know, things like steel and ships) until its economy was destroyed.

The hordes of immigrants who descended on D.C. to feed at the government tit were transformed into bureaucrats who decided that the economy should be based entirely on yapping, the manufacture of noise, lobbying and paper shuffling.

I-495 and a bunch of assholes is the result.

When I read that I literally heard the needle yanked off the record. Too far. Too fucking far.

Romance over. I'm transferring all my flirting to someone else.

You'll be back. Johnny is like a fungus, you can never rid yourself of it.

Aah. I'm not a fan of comedies.

It's not a slapstick nor a sit com. It is an hour long character driven dram-edy. The characters and their interactions and dialog makes it good.

That said it's not a "MUST SEE". It's no Walking Dead or Game Of Thrones.

75F and I took a two hour nap in my hammock.

Then the working class came home and decided to cut their lawns.

An Arizona GOP legislator and congressional candidate has apologized after he mistook a bus full of YMCA campers for unaccompanied migrant children crossing the border, NBC News reported. "Bus coming in. This is not compassion. This is the abrogation of the rule of law,” would-be congressman Adam Kwasman tweeted along with a picture of the school bus. The tweet has since been deleted.

It's depressing how stupid people are. But, it's also kinda funny.

Dear Mr. Zuckerberg,

Please stop telling me about weird al yankovic. He wasn't funny 30 years ago, and he's not funny now.

Sincerely,

Johnny.

As I approach mid-life, there are several things I notice/realize.

Today I realized that the stinkier the cat food, the more my cats like it.

I need cat food, which means I'll go to the Piggly Wiggly and get some Johnny food too!

I took a long nap and missed the $5 Fridays; when the deli section puts all the deli stuff that's left over on sale. No way I'm paying full price for my potato salad. But the meat department puts the "soon to expire" meat in a special cooler on Friday nights - you can't beat that deal with a stick.

Maybe Johnny spent the night in the vineyard.

I was there for a flight of 10 for the tasting and two bottles on their patio.

Also - The Rock is on Today. I have a bit of a man-crush on him. One of only a handfull of people I'd go out of my way to meet.
