Pneumonia Not Overheating

I'm just glad she has no health issues that would impair her serving as President.

Pneumonia isn't a heath issue that would impair her serving as President, because it's treatable and temporary (the community acquired sort, anyway). There is valid concern, though, about possible underlying conditions that might predispose her to infections. And then there's her age, one untreatable underlying condition she shares with her main competitor. On the other hand, maybe it was just simple weariness, combined with her age, that brought her down. I'm not sure that alone is terribly encouraging, though, since her pace is hardly likely to slow if she's elected. But my real point is, I don't know, and nobody in here knows either. From what I've seen, which side of the speculative fence one decides to favor in regards to Hillary's health seems more politically motivated than medically.

As for the OP, it was probably both overheating and pneumonia. One of the most common symptoms of pneumonia is fever. She could become overheated in the wintertime, let alone at 84 degrees.

And yes, eyer, she could be playing with her grandkids after being on antibiotics for two days. They let kids go to school here as long as they're afebrile for 24 hours.

stfu with BS

I will make a modest wager that if she just stays in bed for a coupla weeks her poll forecast numbers will improve. I have never been convinced that non-stop, almost manic campaigning improved poll outcomes.:)
She has a date with Donald on the 26th.

That's all I really (though snarkily) meant. But you're right. No one really knows.

But I know from my own experience that advancing age exacerbates any health problem no matter how minor. Of course, if you don't have health problems, "the age don't matter." Just don't kid yourself that you're bullet proof. We're all just an antigen and failed immune response away.

The MD says pneumonia.

You know I'm no MD worshiper. But I buy the MDs diagnosis quicker than I do an aide's opinion. What I always did was fill a room with MDs, pile the medical records in front of them, and let them come to an agreement. HRC can lift her skirt anytime she wants, and erase all doubt.

Everyone has the bacteria for pneumonia in their lungs. Normally with our regular movement we get enough oxygen in to prevent its growth. When we become immobilized and don't breathe as normal then we risk getting pneumonia.
