Pleasurable Eating!!!

Thanksgiving favorites

fresh cranberry/orange relish
scalloped oysters (so tasty + the added psychological benefit of their aphrodisiac/placebo effects)
my mother's double chocolate pie (you can have my piece of pumpkin)
...
smelling the dinner being cooked
and then eating it!

(kind of like, well, you know--
but maybe that's more like fish, not turkey)

it doesn't matter the main dish... as a new mexican, we throw red and/or green chili on everything afterward!!! haha

Pumpkin rolls, turkey wings, stuffing, and mashed potatoes (hold the gravy!)

Cranberry relish, not the canned stuffšŸ‘Ž made with either walnuts or pecans and a liberal dose of a good liquor.

Stuffing! Yukon gold potatoes. YUM

Dressing...numero uno...and sweet potatoes...and leftovers are always best...I also love Lefse...

Succulent roast beef that melts in your mouth * shivers*

Homemade butter tarts & brownies are pretty much it for me when it comes to sweets. My mom makes them every Thanksgiving.

Definitely love pumpkin pie. And apple pie. And pie in general. Pumpkin is my favorite though. But the last few years we've had a chocolate mousse cake that is just fucking amazing.

I love potatoes. Mashed would be my favorite on Thanksgiving I think but I confess when my dad makes those roasted baby potatoes with garlic and rosemary I snatch that shit up before anyone else has a chance. I also get a drumstick every year. It's a tradition. I need my damn drumstick. If two people call them before I do one is out of luck. Sorry but that's just how it goes. I pour gravy all over pretty much everything too. Potatoes, turkey, stuffing, rustic bread... Gravy goes on all of it. And since we barbecue the turkey every year that's got to be a favorite too. If you've not done that, do it. You will not regret it, I promise you that.

I also like those little carrots roasted in honey and olive oil. That's some good shit right there.

Thanksgiving is pretty much heaven for me in general. Halloween is better overall but I can't say I don't love stuffing food into my gullet. It's the only day of the year I usually have two beers too. I'm not a drinker but I like a beer or two with Thanksgiving dinner.

I like talking about food a little too much. If any of you lovely ladies here want to chat about food, hit me up! I LOVE to eat! It's always nice to find someone who shares that passion.
