Yup, went through the mouth splint treatment for 6 months to move my jaw and then had braces on my teeth - this was more than a decade ago. It still gives me trouble sometimes, but no where near what it did before treatment. The hot washcloth trick I use to cure headaches actually came from my TMJ treatment.
