Phone Geeks!

BTW, the DASH Charge on the OnePlus 3T is all it's cracked up to be. USB Type-C kinda fucked up all my USB 2.0 cables but the Anker 3.0 to Type-C adapters work well with all my Quick Charge 2.0 bricks.

I just had an excellent piss, with a good fart a few seconds in.

Okay, thanks. I have those. Are those always interchangeable? I've had two Samsung phones and I'm assuming that I'm using the one from the latest

Honor 8

I had the Honor 5X and it was every bit as good as my S5. That's a great price.

I pulled the trigger on this crazy deal !

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16875606079&SortField=0&SummaryType

Phone, JBL Head Phones, 50 Gift card ( I needed a paper shredder), and other useful ancillaries. Plus another 25 bucks off because I signed up for their AMEX credit card.

So bottom line taxes in shipped it was 275 dollars!

Sweet deal! Newegg must have a deal with Honor because that's here I got my 5X for a great deal, too. The 3-month screen protection is nice as well as them upgrading to Nougat soon. Be aware of the EUI Skin they use over Android. They try to make the GUI pretty like iOS.

Nova Launcher Prime.

I was aware. They had one at Best Buy and I played with the phone for half an hour a couple of weeks ago.

Furthermore I use Nova Launcher now on my Nexus 5X. So that will one of the first things I do on the Honor 8

He does not know it yet but my Dad will get the Nexus 5X. Bye bye Galaxy 4s MINI.

Nice. I'm a Nova Beta tester so I know how ya feel about Nova. Every time I get a new phone I always try to use the stock features but that lasts about an hour before I install Nova. :D

Transfer from one phone to another.

Any tips or tricks for transfer of data from one android to another?

Getting a new phone in a day or so.

I'm on ATT.

Last time I used ATT Mobile transfer.

Without having a rooted device(s), you are limited to your backups. I've found this app works really well along with the normal google backups.

App Backup Restore - Transfer

If your device is rooted, you could backup your entire system.

Nice! Using Textra for texting?

Textra for my normal day to day....

I use Telegram for the rest.....

All my common use icons fit on the botton dock of 7 icons spread over 2 pages.

Top has Google search with date.

Only one widget . A full screen calandar. On First page. Second page has nothing

Wallpaper app is Wallpaper changer set at one minute with an album of 41 pics.

Simple clean efficient.

Is a brick one of those external battery-powered chargers?

I thought brick was being used in recent years as a slang term for power bank, like this https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00N36S6EA/ref=oh_aui_search_detailpage?ie=UTF8&psc=1 (a model I highly recommend.) "Bricking," of course, used to refer to any electronic device which had gotten fried, and thus was about as useful as a brick. Then there's brick oven pizza, but I'm not sure Samsung makes a phone that tastes good with pepperoni.

I got a LG G5 the other day, Luk. It really wasn't the phone I wanted, I prefer phones with big screens. In the past few days, I have REALLY come to like this phone.

How are you liking it? The G6 is dropping soon so I'm curious. Hope you're enjoying it!

This is a smoking deal for this unit:

[Deal Alert] Get a Nextbit Robin for $136.99 ($163 off) from eBay

The Nextbit Robin was released to the general public last year, after it finished its Kickstarter campaign at over $1.3 million. It was an interesting phone, and over the past few months, we've seen it drop lower and lower. Now you can get the Robin for just $136.99 - a $163 discount from its current MSRP.

If you need a refresher, the Robin has a Snapdragon 808 processor, 3GB of RAM, 32GB of internal storage with 100GB of cloud space, a 5.2" 1080p IPS LCD, a 2,600mAh battery, and a USB Type-C port. It also has dual front-facing speakers, which is unfortunately rare these days. I definitely think the Robin is still a great phone - I bought one for my brother a few months ago to replace his dying iPhone 4G, and he loves it.

If you do plan on buying the Robin, you should definitely put it in a case. The finish scratches off easily, and it's far from the most durable phone on the planet. Also, the Robin has only been updated to Android 7.0 so far, but there are plenty of custom ROMs available if you need something newer.
