I had Galaxies from the beginning to the 9. The last 3 I had issues with.. so after years of fighting it, I got the Apple Iphone 8plus 256 gb.


It's been awesome, I don't think I'll ever go back to Android.

The founder of OnePlus also is one of the founders of Google. I've used them since the 3. They run pure Android without all of the bloatware like Apple and Samsung. It allows for customization without rooting or jailbreaking. I'm all about this company.

It's a great phone in every other respect but the pop-up is annoying as hell if you use face recog.

The 90 Hz screen is fucking magic though. High framerate's gonna be the new standard in a year.

Agreed but I don't use the pop-up for face ID. I swear I read somewhere that one of them, Peter or Carl, had something to do with the start of Google. :confused:

I'm sorry I didn't ask if you have one or just played with it at the store? It's actually getting faster and smoother. I haven't knocked mine down to 60 yet because 90 is insane and the Warp Charging is for real.

i wanted to try something different and i saw some pictures taken with it and they looked great

though the pixel has bloatware i cannot get rid of and the moto does not. its a cleaner version of the droid

The Pixel cameras are fantastic. I'm surprised to hear of the bloatware - I thought that was the point of owning a Google phone. :confused:

I'm a little annoyed they don't offer larger storage option in the year of the lord 2021, but other than that, it's a fine piece of tech. Get a cover though, or pop on the bundled one, cause the casing tends to get warm if you do anything slightly challenging on it. Which is good since it means it dissipates the cpu and gpu heat well and gets better performance, but it's a comfort issue.

Moto has gone downhill a little in one way lately: their phones are no longer Android One certified, which means they don't recieve updates as long as a Pixel will.

If you like the clean Android experience and can get a Pixel, get a Pixel. Google don't sell Pixels here in Sweden. The bastards.
