S8+ arrived yesterday. Not set up yet. Not sure I like the "infinity screen"
Cool. Let us know what you like/dislike. 'Specially interested in Bixby and how that Infinity Screen works out.

Lance, if that response to a previous post about bricks and cables is as random as I think it is, you, sir, are quality people.
Just replaced the battery on the OPO. Ten minute job, eight quid for the battery. Not bad considering they're supposed to be non-replaceable.
I'm fucking excited: https://oneplus.net/
I'm disappointed. USB 2.o, only a 1080p screen, not waterproof, no OIS on the camera and the camera sensor is nothing to write home about. Don't think I'll be splashing out on one. Damn shame.

But remarkably cheaper than competing flagship phones with all those things.
Here you get a 8 GB / 128 GB Snapdragon 835 pocket computer for the price of a discounted last year's 32 GB Galaxy.
People want different things from their phone. I can see how this one would appeal to some.
I played around with one today. The camera is better than it's specs. Not amazing, but pretty good. Battery life is top notch. And the display is an amoled. I don't give a toss about 1440p at this screen size. So I'm happy.
If I was on the lookout for a new phone. Which I'm not.
Biggest letdowns? I don't dig the design. The 3t looked sleeker. And the built-in speaker is just barely better than mediocre. Which is sub-par for a flagship. I use speaker phone a lot so that's a minus for me. And sure, waterproofing woulda been neat.
Magnetic data transfer....
verra interesting....
That blows pretty fucking hard.
I have unrealistic hopes for the rumored surface phone, based off concepts like this.

My only complaints were the camera. They addressed the issue but not to everyone's satisfaction. I'll hold onto my 3t until further reviews come in.

I've always been a fan of Xiaomi, and at this price the MI6 is fucking unbelievable.

Yeah, it's the fastest phone right now and the camera rivals the S10+.
Paid $749, selling my OnePlus 6 for $400![]()

No selfie cam?
That can't be a good selling point, humans have vanity to exploit, yo!![]()
