Power outages/the dark (This one is only when I can't control the lights going off. Has to do with my impending blindness and my lack of control)

Yeah, my fear of darkness is similar; I sleep better when it is totally dark (I try to close out as much light as possible), and I am not really afraid of the dark per se, just what I cannot see in the dark. I sometimes have dreams where I can barely see something, but very dimly - not completely dark, but dim like dusk or dawn.

That book is the one of the scariest things ever, I was afraid to do or go just about anywhere for like a week after reading it.

That book scared the crap out of me too. I had nightmares of Pennywise floating balloons up to my bedroom window, and of him giving me books that had scary moving pictures in them (mind you, I read "IT" when I was only about 14).

IT scared the fucking hell out of me. Not jump out of your boots scary. more disturbing.... as in after you've seen or read it, everythig that happens around you, you have second thoughts about, and images runing through your head.

I have a fear of my dreams...

I hate to dream.. because the ONLY dreams i have, become reality.

It's been going on along time.. mostly death of friends or family. But I've had others..

I won't go into them here..

Sassy, birds freak me out too. I can't stand to go into a house where they have pet birds flying around. Ack!

Me too! I saw 'It' and for the next few months, every single time I took a shower I kept my eyes on the drain the whole friggin time. And then there's so many other movies that have evil clowns in them .... *shivers*

My greatest fear is cats in costumes.

cockroaches. Other insects and creepy-crawlies don't get to me, but roaches make me feel physically ill. I don't know why.

Oh, and I hate to fly. I don't know if it's a phobia per se, because I still do it--I just sit there in white knuckled panic until we land again.

flying bores me, but then I grew up in airplanes (my father is a pilot).

It's nice to hear someone else who has the same phobia about birds. I'm going to tell my family, they all think I'm crazy. I also cannot go into a house that has a bird flying around, its even hard to go in if the bird is in a cage. I also don't go into pet stores until someone goes in first to see if birds are loose.

I fear masses of people. When there are a ton of people close together it freaks me out. I start to feel like there is something heavy on my chest.

I used to have nightmares about snakes all of the time. But snakes don't freak me out at all. Just when I have nightmares of them.

I also have a fear that I will never fall in love. Mostly because I tend not to trust people.

i admit the birds thing is a little irrational,but i'm right on with cats. just ask little minx. she disagrees with me about them being supernatural and evil, but can't explain the time her cat told me, "GET OUT!" i swear to god. have you ever seen "The amityville horror." it was just like that.
