Pathfinder: Kingmaker Recruitment

I'll double check, I don't think I only used 15 points, but it wouldn't be the first time I fucked up a point buy.

Interesting. I tried to register at Myth-Weavers to use the sheets....And they don't like yahoo email.

I essentially had the same problem.

Poor service if they don't allow the most previlantly used email services to register with.

Boo, I say, BOO!

Hopefully she will pass.

Background:
Kumio was born in a isolated village occupying a portion of the eastern part of Alora. The village was named Hidden Mist village due to the thick mists that surround the village most of the time. The village is the home of Kumio's clan, the Radakie clan, and supports over fifty ninja families. Due to the isolation of the village, they receive very few visitors. In order to earn money and supplies for the village, designated runners would be dispatched to areas all over Alora for missions. The missions covered everything from assassinations, treasure hunting, sabotage, and other types of work.
Kumio began her training at the age of 5 under the supervision of her parents. She was a good student and picked up the skills quickly. She started doing her first mission at the age of 9. Her first assassination job was given to her when she turned 15.
The target of her job was a bandit leader whose band was targeting wounded ninja on their way back to the village. It took her two days to track the band to their hiding place in the mountains. She killed the leader while all but two of the bandits slept in their cave hideout. She had subdued the two guards and left them unconscious.
By the time Kumio turned 22, her mission running had taken her over most of Alora. She has gone to the Stolen Lands in order to expand her clan’s operating area.

Personality:
Kumio is cool, calm, and calculating most of the time. Though she guards her true feelings and reasons, she is able to adapt to her surroundings when needed. She is friendly most of the time, but only to a point.

Yea...Let me know if the image link works...I am having problems with it atm I think.

Image not found on my end. Also please if I underspent tell me and I'll adjust. I'd be perfectly happy not to have any negatives, or at least to have fewer of them.

That means I have to re-upload the pic. I'll redo that later. And I recalculated it for you. Everything worked out how you had it Sean.

Damn. I was really hoping you'd tell me I was 5 points shy. Oh well. So I'm assuming the confusion was either you thought we were starting with 8 and not 10 or you failed to account for the fact that I took a few negatives so I could be really good at what I wanted to be good at.

Sad thing is that I did the same thing here that I normally do and it probably will work out the same. When I play IRL my characters have lots of shit they don't need cus combat is the only thing that matters and here I built a character that I hope will be good in combat but I probably would have been worlds better off focusing on Charisma instead of I get bonus spells and attacks and between mutagen and reduce person I get +4 AC and +2 to hit. I'm just and obnoxios twat and if we make it to level 6 (a long shot I know) a whole new layer to the character happens.

I don't know how many characters we are aiming to have in this party but if we have enough I would suggest that perhaps we start soon and start with what's called a session 0. It's basically the "hi my name is" episode which I have found works much better for most people for finding and making their personalities than expecting them to know a whole lot upfront. We can start with the classic bar fight or at where ever people standardly gather before heading off to the Stolen Lands but just a chance for us to casually get this thing started and before moving on to more serious parts and getting formally started. Especially since after reading all that I think we might be more regular RP and less SRP than the other way around.

That does look incredibly cool. I'm gonna keep an eye on it cus if looks like their gonna make their goal I'm kickin in 20$ to get a cart for when I actually play DnD.

I've gotten to know the couple fairly well on their personal forums and they made me a TARDIS model for my mother for her birthday. Even without considering how cool their work is, they are just such good people that I am very keen on seeing them succeed. So, if any of you know of any gamer forums/blogs you could share the link on, we'd all be very greatful for the word of mouth.

Okay, thats all I'm going to risk derailing the thread.

I rechecked my points bought and they do add up to 20. As a human, I get a bonus to any one ability, which is why my dexterity is 16 instead of the 14 I bought.

I started from 10, since I figure that's the baseline for adventurers.

Sean, yes, there is a 'remind me' button below the video window on the right side, next to the bold text blurb. Click that, and you can use your 'stared projects' tab in your user profile to go back to it, and will recieve a reminder by email when the project has 48 hours to go.

Pledging to it kind of overwrites the reminder, as you'll get emails whenever the project has an update. Oh, and thats the only way you can post comments to the project, as well as some updates are for backers only.

Alright, description and personality have added as well to the character sheet posted earlier. Ready to go!

I'm having a hard time settling on a pic but other than that I've been ready. Shoudl we discuss how our characters met?

As someone mentioned above, a "Session 0" could be a good idea. We could figure out a scenario that brings our group together and it gives us a chance to get familiar with each other's characters.

I vote for either the always familar tavern meeting, or if there is a traditional launching place for these ventures. Something like base camp or the lodge.

Looks like we have to wait on the go ahead from Apathtic, unless he's decided not to go forward with things anymore.

Well if he doesn't start in the next few days I'm willing to at least give a shot at taking over. I'll admit I'm newish to Pathfinder (plenty of DnD and even 3rd edition but Pathfinder is just enough different) and never online but I'll give it a swing if he doesn't show back up.
