EDIT: Official announcement is up here!
Throughout the history of literature, people have loved writing about temptation, and its cost. Faust and Mephistopheles: promise me your soul, and I'll give you what you want. The eternal adversaries of angels. Exotic horrors from beyond the walls of reality, reaching out with tentacles to suck - or fuck - your brains out. Or simply impish beings looking for a little fun.
Pandemonium challenges authors to write their best stories about or featuring demons. The good, the bad and the sexy. Horned and horny, tentacled and touchy, sweet, scary and seductive. Who's ready for some slaying and laying some demons?
Open to all authors (please read the announcement).
organizer: StillStunned
challenge date: final anthology list posted on September 30th
submit your story: September 1-25 (stories submitted & posted)
1. Stay more or less with the theme.
2. You can write in any category and any length, as long as you keep in mind Rule #1
3. Please include "Pandemonium 2024" in the Notes to Admin field. Please use this exact wording so Laurel can identify the entries. If you don't put this phrase in the Notes to Admin field, your story will not be included in the event. We recommend you copy and paste it!
4. Please use "Pandemonium" and "Pandemonium 2024" as story tags.

Original post begins here:
I mentioned in an earlier thread that demons are a recurring feature in many of my stories. I seem to remember that someone else here likes demons too.
Anyone up for a Pandemonium* challenge? Stories about or featuring demons: the good, the bad and the sexy. Horned and horny, tentacled and touchy, sweet, scary and seductive.
So who's ready for some slaying and laying some demons?
* As we of course all know: besides its modern meaning of "chaos" (very apt for the AH), "pandemonium" is from the Greek pan demonion, literally meaning "collection of all demons" (as opposed to a pan theon, "collection of all gods").
