One Billion Rising.

I'm getting a little jaded about things like this.
It all sounds good - people standing up for a cause, protesting inequality, making themselves heard, rallying for change.
But what really changes?
Live Aid, Band Aid, etc.... all for good reasons, but in the end not a damn thing changed in the places they were targeting.

There's still unbelievable poverty and starvation, women will still get attacked in vast numbers, people will still be persecuted.

I don't know what the answer is - but I do know I have watched (and taken part in) many rallies for good causes that have achieved nothing much.

hello queen :)

Hi back :)

Lazy day for me today after doing major housework yesterday (and all the cleanup after a massive weekend!)
I will spend most of today putting new music on my ipod and catching up with paperwork.
You?

Even if this one day doesn't change everything, it might make someone think.

I'm just young enough and optimistic (possibly stupid) enough to believe that changing one person's mind is worth it.
