Last I heard EE and I were friendly with one another. If anyone would have read my whole post they would have seen the wink and the kiss icon.

I was joking. I'm not one to pull punches. EE knows this. She and I have had disagreements in the past. We don't agree on everything but never once have I followed her around and made jabs.

Bra man- I agree with EE in the sense that posting an address of a stranger (or anyone actually) is wrong. But I also agree with Byron on the fact that it's highly unlikely anyone is going to actually use the address to harm someone.

I understand Angel. But it's still an imformation vs how you use it issue. I'll stick with my CC scenario though. Even if I gave out someone else's CC number I certainly did something ill advised and probably broke a trust in doing so. But there was no criminal act until that CC number was used.

The real issue is was what LT did a criminal act? Not yet. It would be a fine point of law, but LT did post that information with the sole purpose of causing harm and all of the information needed to prove that is right here on Lit. .

Crimally a case could be made that for criminal intent. the CC number give was intentdend for other sto use. That can be charged as part of the fraud. That would be saying it is okay to steal someones credit card number but not to use it.

CIVILY you can be held responcible, finanically respocible for your actions.
