but I actually wrote a sonnet for National Nude Day! Laurel hasn't included it in the entries, which is fair enough, but it's languishing in the wastelands with 3 votes and only 55 views! It's no good me asking the poets to look at it, 'cos I don't know anyone across there, but I'd appreciate any of you guys having a look. It's the first sonnet I ever wrote, and you'll find it here.

So far as my prose entries are concerned, it looks like midtable obscurity again. Ah, well.

There are so many talented writers on here, it amazes me that so many are unpublished!!!!!!!!

You, my friend, Rumple Foreskin, are one that should have been on paper years ago!!!!!!

Rumple's writing is great!

For some of us, we've been struggling with becoming published in print for years... for myself, I've been trying for nearly 12 years. I've found some small success in the e-publishing markets, but nothing major in breaking into magazines or book publishing.

Still, we keep trying. ^_^

I want to thank everyone for the feedback and votes on my entry... I've seen some great stories, and I'm flattered some think mine ranks up there with them. (shrugs/smiles) All I did was tell a story, nothing more...

Thanks again! Can't wait to see how this all turns out. ^_^

we have passed the point of being able to read every entry. I propose to priorize those who needs votes. If I like it, I will 5 it. If I don't, I'll not hurt you .

I particularly liked BT, Cantdogs, Cookies, Cloudy, Lou, Perdita, and Wishful, from this current bout of reading. Each excellent, each different from each other. Great reads.

P.S. Thanks to those who have commented on my story. I've been quite taken aback. I appreciate it more than you'll ever know. Sod whatever happens in the contest, those comments have made me walk on air, and encouraged me to write, write, write! This is just what I needed.
