LITEROTICA’S LIFETIME ACHIEVMENT AWARD
[/size]

The Board of Directors of the ASSOCIATION of INDEPENDENT READERS (A.I.R.) have decided that it would be appropriate to honor one of the giants of LITEROTICA fiction at the end of each of the Special Contests.

We have decided to call this new prize, one we believe will soon become emblematic of erotic fiction excellence and the most respected author’s award in the genre, the MANU. This name of course honors the first PRINCE of erotic fiction, a man who’s become a giant in the field of erotic publishing.

These prizes will be awarded based on the author’s complete body of work. This week the seventh MANU will be awarded.

And he or she will join rgjohn, sarahhh, ManyFeathers, SamuelX, Slickman and TryAnything as the only holders of the MANU!

Rants? You call them rants. I call them defending myself, when attacked.

You don't want me to submit as many contest stories as I want, even though I have a rats chance of winning a contest, and even though Laurel said that there's no limit on contest submissions. We're both adults. We know that none of these contests and scores are fair. Otherwise, you, as well as some others, wouldn't have a page full of red H's and blue W's.

You'd have to be a dummy not to see why Literotica picks a certain select few to win multiple contests, so please don't insult my intelligence with lame excuses and phony numbers.

I can tell you this with certainty. My scores are capped. My scores are not allowed to go any higher than a certain number, which would explain why, even after hundreds of votes later, my scores don't change from the first days numbers. It makes no sense, other than I'm being limited, so as not to win a contest.

Yet, that's okay with me. So long as I can write my stories and not be attacked, I'm happy.

I don't bother anyone on the board. I never make an appearance, unless I have something positive to add. Yet, when someone pokes me with a stick, by creating a poll that's detrimental to me writing stories, and others, such as Scouries and Michchick attack me and call me names, I'm here to retort.

Enjoy your day.

Show me where in any of my posts to you I've insulted you unless you've insulted me first. And as far as attacking you, I'm not doing that either. I merely state and inquire why you continue to bring up the fact that you'll never win any contests here, yet you say you don't care about winning contests. You're contradicting yourself, Freddie. If you consider that an attack or an insult, so be it.

Wait, now you'll use your usual rebuttal about Detroit and cheese doodles and well yeah, you're contradictory, but oh so very predictable.

There are at least three reasons for whatever animosity exists toward you by toher authors on this site. One is your frequent whining, which actually sounds paranoid, such as the post here. Another is how, as BOSTON FICTION WRITER, you posted hundreds of stories that weren't worth reading. I referred to them as "drivel" and I meant that. One group in particular was about twenty-some interminable chapters of about 800 words each, supposedly about a bunch of hoods sitting around discussing crimes they were going to cimmit, wearing disguises. I read some of them, but it was, to me at least, nothing but aimless drivel, and I said as much. I will concede that as Ralph, your stories are of a higher caliber.

Another thing you did, which bothered everybody, happened when a woman posted a thread lamenting the loss of a baby. Everybody expressed deep sympathy for her and her husband, except you, as BFW, who accused her of lying. That was really disgusting. :(

For you to post this, yet, again, Box, there is really something mentally not right with you.

Now for once and for all, let's go over this again, so that even you can understand.

Except for my stories marked 750 word stories in the title of the story, show me where I ever wrote an 800 word story. Go ahead and I'll wait here, until you wade through all 600 of my Bostonfictionwriter stories.

Why did I break my stories up in chapters to begin with? Because Mungo Park in 2007 beat me out of the Survivor contest by writing 800 word stories in November and December. Yet, you write nothing about that.

Why did I write condensed 1,200 word stories, broken into chapters in 2008? Because the queen of 800 word nonsensical stories, PrincessErin wrote stories with no plot, no character development, no thought to the category. Yet, you write nothing about that either.

Then, because I write a story that you didn't like, instead of not reading the story, 3 years later, you're still writing about how bad it was. Truth be told, Box, I've had comments just the opposite. A lot of readers enjoyed that story. I'm sorry you didn't, but it's time you let that go, Box. It's time to forget about that one story and move forward.

Why did I comment about Selena being pregnant or not pregnant or losing her baby or not losing her baby? After all the lies told on this board, after all the charades played to naive, trusting, and believing writers like myself, after being used and abused by the likes of the twin sisters, DanielleKitten and SelenaKitten, give me a break.

Tell me this, Box, what grieving mother of a stillborn child would stop her grieving to go out and get a tatoo of her dead baby on her chest the next day? No one that I know.

There's nothing that you can write that I'm guilty of doing. I was the one that was attacked right from day one and here you are, still setting more fires to keep the inferno going against me.

There's seriously something wrong with you, Box, probably with everyone who writes here, but some are worse than others. If you can't put this to rest, Box, just leave me the fuck alone.

Now back to our regularly scheduled Nude Day Contest.

No sign of a mini sweep or the Hoover for that matter, so it's business as normal until they show up.

My story is hanging in there waiting for the sweeps. How's everyone else doing?

Uh, contest wise, that is. ;) :D

My next door neighbor submission has taken off like a shot, I have many a thank you note to send out. My poor little IR threesome in Key West has stalled. I can't even tell if I've been hoovered or not.

the three stooges are at it again! Lets all share their posts...

Sorry but here's another one – post # 377 - this one from our friend DIXIE - from his pic it looks like he’s still got his headache. I think both contest threads should share in this - don't you?

each contest it gets better and better...

Look I’ll admit the “no chapters in themed contests” rule has been stretched to the breaking point over the last year. The jayman, our dumb texan and darkboy have tried to make a fool out of the QUEEN :cattail: and everyone else associated with the contests with their various interpretations of the rule.

But this one takes the cake! Talk about chutzpa! Another Sci-Fi classic?

Tales of the "Pink Mist" Ch. 05 (4.65) This might be difficult... Sci-Fi & Fantasy 07/06/11

Couldn’t you at least have tried to play the darkboy game? Your story description, “this might be difficult” should clearly have been finished “to swallow”.

I know the rest of the serial, continuation, stand-alone club are going to rush to your defense and I’ve got to admit I’m dying to hear how they’re going to explain the ”Ch. 05” you’ve so brazenly included in the title.

A stand-alone non-serialized episode?

It will be fun to see our fair QUEEN :cattail: twiddling her thumbs over this one.

Just in case anybody else doesn't have the fraud above on ignore:

Comment by the author on the chapter the fraud is crying about:

Ummmm

I wasn't aware that I entered a contest...

Obviously a mistake, ticking the contest box when approving the author's latest chapter.

The site really needs to find some way to make this up to the author. (He/she - didn't check the bio ) is being attacked for no reason over this, and the score is likely suffering as well.

EDIT to add: The author's comment appeared before the fraud left the same nasty, unwarranted comment ( anonymous, of course ) that appears here on the public comment board.

Thanks dark. The bullies, like scouries, just spoil the atmosphere here.

Aww, I knew you didn't have me on ignore, scouries. *sniff*

It means so much that you quoted me. Improperly formatted quoting of course, but quoted nevertheless.

Sorry everyone else for replying to the dancing monkey. Carry on.

"Jerome" is such a lame alt for the monkey that he didn't even take the time to make him his own personal ID, he's having to share with the blowup doll.

There is no way scouries can put anyone on ignore. He might miss something, if he did.

Now back to the real contest now that everyone who didn't know scouries contest was a fake knows now. :D

That "Ch. 05 does not necessarily mean a story divided into chapters, at least as the idea is usually understood. It might be just #5, meaning the fifth story involving this person or couple. For some reason, Lit. designates them as chapters, whether they are stand alone stories or not, when a series of stories is posted and numbered like that. I have an example of that in my index, Marian and Ryan. Each story in the series is a stand alone story, but they are numbered as if they are chapters. I don't like this method, but the hassle of changing the names, a truly daunting task, seems like more trouble than it is worth.

*Groan* Why would you quote the fraud whom most people have on ignore for a damn good reason? On top of that, the tangent you've gone off on is irrelevant and serves no purpose except to fuel another of the fraud's rants.

The author didn't enter this story in the contest. It got there by mistake, which the author makes clear long before the fraud started his malicious, completely unfounded, and reprehensible asshattery.

I don't take Scouries seriously, but I don't have him on iggy. I consider him harmless and even amusing at times. :) At least he doesn't bad-mouth (bad-keyboard?) other authors the way some people do.

<chuckles>

Nice to see that it is business as usual here. No, really....

Feels good to be back in a contest.

My story is a departure for me. Rather than "playing" a concept or characters as I usually do, I joined a "thought" of mine concerning my girlfriend with her own fantasies. In the end, it was a lot of fun and a special, personal work for me.

So far I'm enjoying the other entries, wonderful, impressive writing; as usual it's a group that I'm proud to have my work be included with.

And again, nothing quite like the bizarre humour that is here!

I agree LITFAN! *waves exuberantly*

Been away for a few days of newborn land and just came back to 'business' as usual. If I put people on ignore I'd miss out on some laughs.

*laughs at DARK's facepalms and headdesks*

How's everyone's going? How are stories that are still in the works doing?

*facepalm*

*headdesk*

Seriously? You actually just typed that?

*looks again*

Yep. You did.

*head to the desk again*

Did you read anything he typed? His whole post is an attack on an author for no reason!

*thud*
*thud*
*thud*

He was critical and expressed disagreement, but there were no personal insults, which many others regularly use here.

I wouldn't say there was no reason. I disagreed with it, but it was a reason nonetheless.

Let me try this again:

THE AUTHOR DIDN'T ENTER THIS STORY IN THE CONTEST.

It was a mistake on the website's part. The author clearly said that the story was not entered in the contest before the troll started in, complaining about the author entering the story in the contest.

There was NO reason for the attack on the author.

Not personal? Being called a cheat in a contest you didn't enter isn't personal? Being told that you're "hard to swallow" isn't personal?

*thud* *thud* *thud* *thud*

Scouries accused somebody of stretching the rules, not of cheating. He also expressed doubts over somebody's statement, saying it was "hard to swallow," but did not call that person a liar. Those are putdowns but not personal insults.

Calling somebody a bitch or asshat or dipshit or asshole or stupid or other such name or description would be apersonal insult.
