No Peaches for Mayorkas.

Tennessee Republican chair of Homeland Security vows to re-impeach once Steven Scalise is out of the hospital (stem cell transplant to testicles....ugh)

If at first you don't impeach.....peach, peach again!

Let the "republicans" keep the meritless Mayoekas impeachment talk / posturing going.

It just keeps the "republican" impotence and incompetence in the spotlight.

And speaking of Mayorkas and impeachment:

https://www.axios.com/2024/02/06/fr...ent,enforcement "has increased considerably."

From the article:

“The largest police union in the country is praising Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas in a letter sent to Congress just before the House votes on impeachment articles against him, according to a copy of the letter obtained by Axios.

Why it matters: It's the latest in a string of conservative-friendly voices that have broken with congressional Republicans over their efforts to impeach Mayorkas and kill a bipartisan border deal.

  • Fraternal Order of Police president Patrick Yoes said Tuesday that since Mayorkas took leadership of the agency, cooperation between DHS and state and local law enforcement "has increased considerably."
  • "We value our relationship with the Secretary and the Department and believe that local and State agencies have greatly benefited from their partnerships," he wrote in the letter, which was addressed to Rep. Ken Buck (R-Co.), who committed to voting against impeachment.”

One would hope the Republicans will see how silly they are being on this and not bring it up again.

"They hid one of their voters ..."
I'm guessing it was the one in the hospital scrubs that ran onto the house floor barefooted.

Nice to know Republicans and Democrats enjoy playing 'hide the voter' games. Bad guessing for MG on the vote count.

And to think, I believed parties didn't deviously plot such things.:nana:
McCain would like a word.

Republicans are a clown show.

McCain would like a word.

Republicans are a clown show.
Calling them a clown show is giving them way too much credit.

I've seen some bad congresses in my life but the Republicans looked at them and said "hold my beer."

The House doesn't want border security or to fight against the rise of authoritarians and for Democracy.
Fucking clown show

Impeached. So, off to a trial in the Senate. And where is that expended to end? The odds are 99 to 1 that it doesn't even get off the ground.

Spectacular Republican House failure, yet again. Claim he failed to do his job, yet the Republicans failed to do their job by funding the necessary resources to do the job. Now, the ICE program is preparing contingencies to release detainees since they cannot fund the resources to contain them for hearings. How ironic.

Republican's shooting themselves in the foot again - and - again. Never-ending tireless dogs chasing each other's tails in a circle. That's funny to watch and makes me cry simultaneously, knowing they are supposed to be representatives of the American people - do the will of the people.

But they will continue to blame everyone but themselves. Maybe it’s Taylor Swift’s fault? That seems to be their new favorite.
