If you're a forum poster or author who has shared images (photos or artwork) that include nudity, you can prepare for the changes by editing/replacing those images yourself proactively - or you can wait until we have time to review all of the visual works and request changes to those that need to be updated.:confused::confused:

Soooooo...let me understand this. LitEROTICA...and there is no nudity allowed ???? Not very erotic. If all people want to do is read...change it to "Literature about erotica". LEAVE IT ALONE. It obviously has been successful.
IF you are going to open your phone in a public place because you have an urge you can't resist...DON'T DO IT IN PUBLIC !!! Orrrr...WAIT til you can find a more private place. What a WEAK excuse to 'abolish nudity' on a site where people go to SEE it! DUH! How STUPID can people BE? (ohhh...wait...I see now! MY bad!)
Whatever...we had a president that said "it's time for a change." Change for the sake of change is not always GOOD change !!!

What the hell? That's what this place is all about! What's going on? Pretty soon we won't even be allowed to talk about sex.
 
So I suppose I could understand not having nudity in the banners at the top and bottom of the story pages, but in the forums it’s completely up to you whether to go there or not, and the title of the threads makes it fairly obvious what might be seen there. Page banners- no nudity, forums - leave it be. As for avatars, they’re so small you’d have to really be looking hard over someones shoulder to see anything.
We’re dealing with enough bullshit in our lives as it is. Don’t heap more on. Or is this maybe related to the bs we’re dealing with. No no, let’s not piss off the man.
 
I was vacationing in a conservative US State recently and wasn't allowed to access porn without answering a series of questions - which I declined doing - and this hadn't been a requirement in years past. I'm assuming that some states are tightening up what's allowed under the new administration and this is an (over)reaction to it. Unfortunately some states are apparently seeing nudity as porn.
 
It's not Lit, and it's not the mods, or any mod.

I'm pretty sure it's related to the move by several states to either tightly control access by age, or eliminate porn altogether. Already in Texas, trying to view any of the high volume porn sites will send you to a "age verification" page where you have to prove your age by disclosing information most people would rather keep private. One by one the adult sites are converting from user self-reporting ("Are you 18+?") to 3rd party verification. I'm guessing most previous viewers just give up and look elsewhere. I'll bet the user volume has decreased, and therefore the ad revenue, so the sites may not be able to continue.

But at least we'll all be pure of heart now.

i feel so much better and purer (more pure?) with others dealing with this and making my decisions for me. All this godless fornication will surely be sending me to hell! 🙈

Looks like I picked a bad time to join. Having a place to express yourself in written form as well as visually was what attracted me to this place. The naked body is beautiful, erotic, and should not be censored where we are all adults.
 
Definitely not in favour of the new policy here. I get that some people might want to read lit in a location where they shouldn't be looking at images with nudity, but a blanket ban on pictures with nudity doesn't seem like that the right solution
 
If they replace pictures with links, the problem is a lot of people don't like clicking random links. I certainly don't!

Also if all of the pictures on this site are going to be deleted, will people be told first, or will they just vanish...?
 
Yeah, I see pictures are still going up, all very confusing. I'm seeing lots of mixed messages and very confused people!

The application of this policy does not seem to be in any coherent manner. It would even be worse if lingerie pics cannot be posted. Sorry this is happening.
