New Milestones Thread

So, this morning I am officially paying 1 Gbps broadband prices for 5 Mbps broadband. @SugarStorm have you seen my axe?
When I headed to work this morning, I thought I saw it on the road to Mordor. It said something about getting its edge back. Seemed like a personal journey, you know? Not that magical axes are my thing.

I remember when my dad got us 0.5 Mbps (from a 128kbps ISDN connection). Proper hallelujah moment there. It felt like we lived in the future.

On the way to Mordor, did you meet a girl so fair? Did Gollum creep up and slip away with her?

Now I know you're just taunting me. You and I both know my axe would be on the road to Mordork, not Mordor.

I demand a renewal of the Milfstones thread.
"... And this calamity can be averted only by bringing together the Milfstones of ancient legend! You, younglings, must undertake this quest to save our world. We all depend on your stamina..."

"The ancient texts are frustratingly vague on whether the Milfstones are to be gathered, awakened, or... engaged with. Expeditions continue to report mixed results, though morale appears unusually high."

I decided to follow up a super depressing essay with like 2.7k words of intense sex stroker.

should be fun.

I expect my next milestone will be "Created far too many confused boners with a sudden content shift from suicidal thoughts to Dom led sleep sex that then turns into forced self care and understanding of self."

You know you're a true Literotica author when you start to look for milestones in number combinations like this. "Look, if you mix up the numbers and convert them to letters it spells the name of a Beatle!"
Actually, I got fed up of waiting for it to hit 100k.

But in the meantime it's there, and now I have four stories with more than 100k views. Why yes, I did write a T/I series, why do you ask?

First of my stories to get 100 hearts.... and also the first to get over a thousand votes, over 40k reads and over a hundred comments.

While that's lovely, it's also kind of sad too. I'm happy with this story, but it's not my best, not by a long shot.

I hit a milestone yesterday:

It's far less than what a lot of people here have accomplished, but I'm proud of it.

I know I've not been around much recently. Most of my writing these days is targeted towards another site. Some of it does still make it back here. But this place will always hold a place in my heart as where I started to write. And many people here have helped that journey, through feedback on my stories, or suggestions, or writing guides or just writing wonderful things to read. Or by being supportive.

Thank you all.

Time to buy some Levi's 501's to celebrate 🤘

This is more of a personal milestone than a statistical one.
I finally completed and posted my Proclivities series. In the end, over 200K words over 25 chapters. Not that widely read with only 4870 views per story (on average, with a range from 300 to 22,000). I realize that views trend downwards with series, but still most of that is my fault for taking so long to complete it (over 4 years - where did the time go?)
Nonetheless, still gratifying
Average voting across all stories 4.46
Weighted vote average 4.7
Cue the one bombers

Today, my 20th story went live. It’s called Sin on Wheels, and it’s probably the closest I’ve come to autobiographical fiction. Some of the events are true, the locations are real, and a few of the outcomes happened exactly as written. Also, like all my stories, the sex is tried and true. Been there, done that.

But the real reason I’m posting is this: this marks my 20th story on Literotica.

When I joined three years ago, I had a plan. I was going to crank out 24 erotic stories a year like an overcaffeinated dealer in bad decisions and good orgasms.

Then reality stepped in. Or maybe my old college creative writing professor was right all along. He used to tell me I lingered too much in my writing, that I liked getting lost in the atmosphere and the characters instead of racing to the finish line.

He also liked lingering around me a bit too much himself, but that’s a story for another time.

So the goal dropped from 24 stories a year to 12. Then I realized I was lingering even longer in these erotic stories than I ever did in my non-erotic ramblings.

Eventually, I stopped fighting it and accepted something simple: this is just how I write.

Slow. Deliberate. A lot of the process is spent sitting inside the words until they feel right.

These days, my pace is about five or six stories a year. One every other month, give or take. But I’m proud of every single one. If I weren’t, it wouldn’t stay posted.

So here we are. Story number 20. Time to stop lingering and get on to my next one.
