New Milestones Thread

[Statius]

Really unexpected, but today, I did actually publish that last chapter in my ongoing novel, Peta. This brings the total chapters to 10, so far, aiming for two more acts of 10 chapters each.

Peta
Act 1
Chapter 1: “Married With Children”
Chapter 2: “Half the world away”
Chapter 3: “Trip Inside”
Chapter 4: “The Girl in the Dirty Shirt”
Chapter 5: “Soldier On”
Chapter 6: “Part of the Queue”
Chapter 7: “One Way Road”
Chapter 8: “Where did it all go wrong?”
Chapter 9: “Sad song”
Chapter 10: “Don’t look back in anger”.

Someone somewhere may notice a pattern with the chapter names, I hope…!

There's a great dislike of Oasis on this site I've found, not me, but still.

One of the few things this site can agree on and you have to go and ruin it

You are going to hate acts 2 and 3 then

Hey their later albums were really good. Heathen Chemistry and Don't Believe the Truth are fantastic albums. And Noel Gallagher solo albums are some of my favorites, especially Chasing Yesterday.

Completely agree

Just so I don’t get this totally wrong for the third novel (after novel 1 was fleetwood mac song titles and novel 2 oasis) what group should I avoid?

.music taste is like writing, right? You write your story your way, that's what everyone here says. So write your story to whatever music you like, the way you want to tell it.

I was responding a bit tongue in cheek but - good!

Maybe Genesis or Pink Floyd next then…the difficult third album…I mean novel…

If you're looking for bands that are universally hated but still sold millions of albums, you can't go wrong with Journey or Nickelback.

Culture Club or any 90s boy band is also a possibility.

Saw Nickelback when they opened for Bon Jovi (my wife's favorite so I've seen him 8 damn times) and Kroeger was completely hammered and kept yelling up at Robert Kraft's box that he was cheap and didn't give them enough beer.

Musically I don't know what the issue is, they're a decent band in the genre, but the guy is a dipshit

Does hitting #170 in Interracial Erotica, in two and a half days, on Amazon Canada, count as a milestone?

Hold on, when did Journey get grouped with Nickelback?
Arguably the best rock singer in history vs. the worst?
Who decided this and were they drunk?

I stepped out from behind a computer screen, walked into the AH Lounge, and posted my writer's journey for the first time in a public forum yesterday. That's a major milestone for me considering I've been a member here since 2007. One of my goals was to be a participant in the forums as I set out to discover if the one story I thought I had inside me was as good as I thought was. I still have the eight positive comments from the readers. And believe it or not that's all I needed to continue writing behind a computer screen as I practiced what I learned from volunteer editors here and the writers in the lounge when I'd visit here, learn something new and then disappear to write more stories than I didn't know were there until I started one from scratch. The experience is like cooking from a recipe when you have all the ingredients.

I left a snippet of 322-word count here:
https://forum.literotica.com/thread...tom-up-approach.1652387/page-3#post-102611081

If anyone would care to comment on the piece of the first characters (I ever created from my imagination) based on their dialog in the piece. I'd appreciate it as it might help me complete the piece; doubling the word count while I edit another story.

I apologize for this. It’s bragging, but I have nowhere else to really share it. I published my first story in 2 years. It’s pushed me well over 13,000 followers and I think into the top 10 most followed authors once the system resets. I’m not sure, as that section of the site doesn’t update real time, I’m currently listed as #12 but the # of followers there is different than the one on my authors page.

You are so lucky, I can't put my stuff on Amazon, only on ZBookStore.

Apparently I've posted here 12.5k times. You lot really have to stop distracting me.

Stray Cat Strut???

Stray Cat Strut???

How the hell has nobody on Lit written a story called Stray Cat Slut?????? I checked, nada. Someone ought to remedy that.

I see myself more as Bustopher Jones.

Well... I have an outline for a short story called My Stray Buddy. Not quite the same though. Especially since Buddy is a stray Tom.

You ought to get on that.

You mean...someone anthromorphic?

My first thought was obviously I should write it, but it would be pure smut, and... Actually, no objections

I hit 1500 followers today, and my most-read story just passed 200k views. I write almost exclusively T/I, so...grain of salt, I guess, for the "easy" audience. But still, I'm proud of this success after only nine months.

[AStrangeDesire]

On the other end of the spectrum from @ADirtyPerv , my very first ever T/I story will go live tomorrow
