Yes!As Sexcretary-General of the Bad Pun Society, I vote to induct both @redgarters and @old_prof. All in favor?
And the only bad pun is one that garners no reaction at all.Yes!The only good pun is a bad pun.
There was an old thread 'Lost in the punhouse' where a few of us went back and forth. I came up with a story using the names of candy/candy bars. You have yourself to blame for bringing up puns. I realize some of the names are a little dated for the younger crowd so I'll put the relevant words in bold. And the only bad pun is one that garners no reaction at all.
I take full liability for prompting the recounting of that story. Please send all lawsuits to my lawyer. You have yourself to blame for bringing up puns.
When we were ready to go another round I decided to go all in and ask if I could take a ride up her Hershey highway. She said she wasn't sure, she'd had nothing butterfinger up there before.
Don't be so pungnacious.Yes!The only good pun is a bad pun.

Speaking of writing all over the place, thanks to my Pink Orchid entry in Toys & Masturbation I now have red H stories in exactly a dozen different categories.
Nice on both!@Erozetta, I've been creeping upward this past year as well. No idea how, I haven't published enough to say grace over the last year and the first month and half of this year.
I read all of Nate the Snake. Totally worth it.
The shaggiest of shaggy dog stories.
Nice.
Thank you for mentioning me.My milestone is that today is the one year anniversary of me publishing my first story. I count that as starting my writing, but my writing actually started about a week earlier. I wrote a WIWAW about my writing over the last year, which went up this weekend, which talks more about most of my writing and how it has changed.
I think I've accomplished a lot in that year. I have 59 "stories" here on the site, totaling around 900K words. That includes three novels, roughly 30 novellas and a bunch of short stories. A lot of the writing sucks, but not all of it. I do have a blue W. I looked at the top 100 lists for the last year ten days ago, when I was working on the WIWAW. I have 17 stories that are in the top hundred some category, scattered across 9 different categories. So I'm doing at least something right sometimes.
I'm proud of what I have accomplished as writer and how much I have grown. But the people here are what make it worthwhile. In the WIWAW, I specifically call out a number of people who have helped me along the way, including @isleofpoppy, @EmilyMiller, @FrancesScott , @StillStunned @THBGato . HyunnaPark, who is unfortunately no longer on the site, so I can't tag her, has done more for my writing that I can give her credit for. And @NuclesrFairy has given me more support and more motivation (and more friendship) than I can ever repay. And many others here who have made me think with your posts or have listened to my feedback on your writing. Thank you to all of you.
