These people confuse Freedom for all with Freedom for themselves and the controll of those who don't feel the same way.
ie. You are free to believe however you want as long as it conforms to my way of thinking.

"People" like this vehemently defend free speech and free choice as long as it matches their agenda.
Disagree with them and you are a bigot/raceist/commie.
And they perfectly justified in working outside the law because they are doing God's work.

Yanno, I don't need them to love their neighbors. I don't love mine-- well actually, I do, but just the one houseful.
What I do want, is that they stop hating their neighbors. And in fact, I don't care much about their emotional outlook towards their neighbors at all-- they need to stop meddling in the lives of their neighbors.

In order to do that, they have to stop fearing their neighbors. I know that this sounds crazy but they actually believe that in this society, the one that makes being gay odious, dangerous and outcast, they actually think that someone chooses same-sex orientation. Who in their right mind, if given a choice, would, given the circumstances involved? And lesbians and gays only make up at most 4% of the population. What in the world is there to be afraid of? But they're terrified, just terrified.

What is kinda weird is I hope those asshole succeed. If they over turn the >$100 reporting proposition it will do two things:
1. Contributors of >$100 to GLBT campaigns won't have to worry about being targeted by the fundie mf'ers (who are not just voting with their pocket books but are directly harassing individuals)
2. They are reinforcing a precedent that the court can and should over turn unfair propositions if they are ethically and morally wrong.
