Does an international Communist movement even exist any more?USSR, China, Vietnam, Cuba, North Korea, Laos, were or are the few Communist countries in the world and while they are thought to be in better relationship with each other than with other countries outside their circle, it turned out that they are more hostile to each other. Refer to the hot wars between USSR and China, between China and Vietnam.
People staying outside of China can freely check online what the Cultural Revolution that took place during 1966-1976 is.
People living inside can tell you what it looked like in reality. After making comparisons, they can tell you that the current USA is going through such a revolution period.
In China's version, the top leader, President of the country Mr. Liu Shaoqi, was put under house arrest first and to prison then and to death eventually. The Red Guards, most of them the high school students, disrupted the normal classes and made teachers their target of revolution by having them tied with back bent up to 90 degrees and beating them with belts, sticks, chairs, or anything at hand after giving them an insulting judgment in the public. Local people, trying to defend the dear great leader Chairman Mao from the reactionary forces inside the Party, armed themselves first with primitive weapons like kitchen knives, bricks, bottles, iron bars, then with self-made guns, later with authentic firearms stolen from the army. They began their armed struggle with each other in the streets, in the countryside, in any place where there were people whom they believe were their arch enemy.
In USA's version, the chief executive officer, people-elected President Trump has been blocked in carrying out his agenda by the opposition party and the high court time and time again, the latest is that a local judge also joined the horseplay, issuing an injunction that will have consequence as he claimed to the federal big boss. After MAGA supporters stormed the Capitol Hill a while back, the Dem followers did not take their fate lying down by attacking Tesla as an appetite. Even during the election campaign, assasin was assigned to kill the hopeful.
There are no American conservatives any more, only reactionaries. Conservatives are cautious -- that is the only characteristic of conservatism that has any value at all. Conservatives are averse to radical experiments that might have unintended consequences. No conservative would ever shout "Lock her up!" or "End the Fed!" or "Molon labe!" A conservative might think the government spends too much money, employs too many people, tries to do too many things -- but would never think of approaching the problem with a randomly applied chainsaw, like DOGE does.I've regarded the area of the political spectrum known as the Right as revolutionaries for decades now.
Revolutionary meaning they intend to rip up the entire system from the roots, destroy anything and anyone they regard as dissenting from their views, and rewriting the past to show their actions as both inevitable and ethical.
Mao knew how to wear red.The 60s, 70s were a lot more fucking fun than now. The music was definitely better.![]()
You're like the Queen of Esoteria.Mao knew how to wear red.
And Who DIDNT have a copy of his Little Red Book?
Then why don't they vote Communist now? The party still exists. Before the collapse of the Soviet Union, 82% of people still believed in communism
Why should we make that transition? We're not about to run out of petroleum, or anything else the industrial economy depends on.The biggest bump in the road is the transition from megafarms with tractors and imported chemical fertilizers to small organic farms with all human and animal labor. If we can't make that transition, then nothing else matters as we run out of food.
An Anglo-Saxon culture, to which all others have assimilated to varying degrees. What common cultural core do Americans share?
Most of American culture is African: Jazz, the Blues, Soul, Rock-n-Rock, Rap & Hip Hop. America's myths about itself are the work of Hollywood Jews, but the soundtrack of America is African. Why do you think white America feels so alienated? They don't have anything to say that the rest of us want to hear.An Anglo-Saxon culture, to which all others have assimilated to varying degrees.
African-American culture is Anglo-Saxon. It is a uniquely American ethnic subculture that has very little in common with anything to be found in Africa, the Caribbean or Latin America. Their music, like their speech, owes more to that of the white South than to anything African. Most of American culture is African: Jazz, the Blues, Soul, Rock-n-Rock, Rap & Hip Hop. I will add that American political culture is a fusion of European Enlightenment ideas about society with Native American ideas about freedom. That's why fascism took root in the 1930's more easily in Europe than in the United States, and why Trump is struggling now.African-American culture is Anglo-Saxon. Also, perhaps, why Communism never got much traction here.I will add that American political culture is a fusion of European Enlightenment ideas about society with Native American ideas about freedom. Don't soil Canadian art with your fucking american blasphemy....
