NEW Author Project

[Laurel]

The Literotica Reunion project will be ending this month, so I thought it'd be a good idea to get the nest chain story project going. This next one, I think, should have an entirely different focus - totally fictitious maybe, but very sexy (of course). If you're interested in signing up to write on this one, post here and/or email me. Also, any suggestions for topics/situations for the project are very welcome! Let's go!!!!

I guess we should decide on a deadline for authors signup, eh? How does January 20th grab everyone? And I think that this time, we should have 2 or 3 days between chapters, as people seemed to get their stuff in early. Maybe not - I dunno. What do you all think?

Gonna sit this one out, but...maybe there shouldn't be a theme, just characters.
Give a list of contributors(authors)and let them weave it together as they go, using/including people as they go.

Also, Shintani...If you ever read any of Katerina's work, you'll find that she's made a few people very happy...I'm jealous! Your also correct in recognizing her as a romantic. A very 'Hot' romantic.

Eve suggested that we have a murder mystery - a whodunnit sort of thing. We could weave in the Valentine's Day angle... We could invent a Sam Spade character, only he'd put the "dick" in private dick, if you know what I mean...

Hi Laurel.
I'd like to try out for the next chain story. Mainly because I've never really tried writing with others before. That could be fun to try.
I have done a few murder mystries and thrillers before. And everything can be weaved into such a story. Maybe that angle would be a really good idea.

Ya talked me into it! But, only if I get to be the 'dick'.
Since Deborah saw fit to break mine (I know she didn't break it, it was obviously a dumb man trick, but it happened in her story), at the reunion, maybe it got healed into some freak thing with 'hole-istic' powers. You know...like I could 'sniff' out trouble with my bent up dick.
Just a thought...maybe 'Sean Connery', (aka, mrhappy) cums (oops, sorry rodrigo)out of retirement, with a bevy of luscious ladies, all sorts of battery/solar operated gizmos (not dildos ladies..but, private dick stuff...oh, I guess you thought the private dick stuff meant your 'bob'...sorry)and goes about sniffing out crime and doling out punishment with his bent up dick and an endless supply of Viagra!

Just a thought.

I got home last nite from my millenium adventure only to find my favorite erotic mystery "Body Heat" on MAXW. Then I made the mistake of watching the movie with my notebook computer on my lap reading SpecialK and Nurse's new stories. It just started flowing, the ideas I mean.

Hot stories girls! K,loved your "nether lips" body euphemism. Read my nether lips! LOL!

Well, I just adore the Sam Spade, murder mystery and Valentine's Day themes Laurel, Eve and SpecialK were fantasizing about.

How about a title like "The Valentine Potion" or some such thing? A revolutionary new aphrodisiac is developed by a mad and horny group of scientists utilizing top secret computer nanotechnology. A demonstration is set up for Valentine's Day in Las Vegas. But the formula for the potion is stolen by a group of sexual terrorists (Literotica enthusiasts?) The famous PI is called in to solve the case and recover the formula. Meanwhile the sexual terrorists do more than a little experimentation with the stuff. To satisfy Eve's requirement for murder, I suppose someone will have to overdose and get fucked to death.

BTW, there is dialogue in "Body Heat" which so reminds me of my favorite Literotic friends. Like when Kathleen Turner first meets William Hurt and says, "You're not too smart, are you? I like that in a man." Vintage XXplorher. And the scene where William Hurt approaches who he thinks is Kathleen Turner from behind on the porch, and says, "Hey, lady, wanna fuck?" Of course the woman is not Kathleen but her friend. Hey SpellCheck, is "wanna" a word?

*laughing hysterically* Deborah, you are a genius. That's a GREAT plot! I love it!

I agree, Deborah; "Body Heat" is one of the all-time greats. And that scene where William Hurt mistakes the neighbor for his friend reminds me of the cold New Year's night, a few years ago, when I went to the hot tub on the rooftop deck of my apartment building, greeted the couple already in there, and got in and sat down--only to realize they were naked and hadn't expected company! I had been so eager to get out of the cold, I hadn't noticed! Alas, that did not result in one of those "chance encounters" that I asked people to write about in another thread. I tried to be tactful and look away from the woman and talk to her boyfriend, to give her a chance to get "put together," but she looked like a deer caught in the headlights. Definitely a different way to start the year.

The whole Sam Spade private eye thing reminds me of the Humphrey Bogart movie, "The Big Sleep," in which he arouses the interest of a cute bookstore clerk by asking intelligent questions about rare books. She says, "You're interesting...who are you?" and he responds "I'm a private dick on a case." Ahem.

And she draws the blinds of the store and takes off her glasses, and the scene fades to black. Ah, those old movies.

I've always had a weakness for those old black and white who-done-its. I can just picture it now, the private "dick" interrogating the suspects in the most intimadating way. Of course, the PI must always, have a fiesty sidekick. I'd volunteer for that role.

Sorry ya'll but for now I will sit on the sidelines. This writing for a deadline stuff is hard for me. Laurel bless your heart, I needed the extra time to write my chapter.

I'm still working on the story I started when I first came here.

My writing seems to have a life of its own once I start it. There never seems to be a quick end. I envy you guys who knock a story out in one day.

I'd love to get in on this, even for a short chapter. I'm interested in working with other writers and trying my hand (and other body parts) at sexy pulp fiction. You can all count on me to supply the "quiet, sexy stranger" type. I'm a sucker for spaghetti westerns.

Hey Laurel, I wouldn't mind taking a stab at this chain story thang. I like the idea with that formula thang, but the murder mystery sounds great too. However, if there's a theme, don't combine the two... it would just ruin it.

As I mentioned before, I haven't decided yet if I'm going to join this next project.

I want to wait and see how this ones goes first.

Will you keep this one open until the other one is finished (or at least until my chapter is)?

Absolutely! In fact, to be fair, let's make the deadline for authors to sign up Feb 2, 2000 (Groundhog's Day). We'll decide a start date, chose the threads & authors, etc at that point. Good call, SpecialK. I'm sifting through my email right now and have already found a few others who've shown interest in the project. As soon as I'm done, I'll post a revised listing of thse interested.

REMINDER: Tonight at 12:00 midnight is the deadline for awards nominations. Though the section may still be there after midnight, NO NOMINATIONS POSTED AFTER THAT TIME WILL BE COUNTED. If you have any last-minute reccomendations, this is the time to make them!!
