I need to find a gift for a nerd and I was thinking maybe something along the lines of a Rubik's Cube (except he has solved that way too often).
So, do you know some other kind of hands-on puzzle that's fun? Either a more complex cube or something like the Isis adventure (but with a better review and a tenth the price).

I don't know about the others, but I had to move on to a job where I do not have the ability to frequent this fine establishment like I used to. Shame, because I have found it so easy and relaxing to talk to other horny nerds (like myself), guy and girl alike.
Not only that, all of my other Lit friends seem to know how to find me here via the Nerd Hook-up Thread.
Who knows... Maybe things will change in the future and I can return.

I got lost, made the wrong turn at Alberkerky.
I loved the new Star Trek movie, I'm all caught up on my Dr. Who and Game of Thrones (TV) though still working on book 5.
Just bought the diamond loot chest for Borderlands 2 on Think Geek, but missing my co-op partner ;_;

Ah I stopped playing Borderlands 2 once I completed it. I'm eagerly awaiting the release of Last Of Us - two days left!
Also I recently completed Ni No Kuni - put over 50 hours into it, best RPG I've played in years

I haven't completed it yet, still have all the DLC to go through and very eagerly awaiting the new Bunkers and Badasses DLC.

Its slow going but is a super fun game. The sick humour kept me going at times
Started playing Last Of Us today. Not as action packed as the Uncharted games, more focus on stealth. As expecting the acting and storyline progress well.

I've never liked the Mortal Kombat games, I always found the control system clunky. I've heard good things about Injustice though, it uses the MK engine and is supposedly a very good fighting game.
