I turn 26 in March.

You get to actually go back to those places if you miss out on something, I don't. Also, the entire trip is tentatively along the lines of 3 days in Stockholm, 1 day in Copenhagen, 1 day in Hamburg, 2 days in Amsterdam, 1-2 weeks in Paris, 2-3 weeks all over the UK.

I heard good things about Portugal (in general, not specifically NYE), and it'll be right there.

Yes, what's your point? It's cheap, quick and you don't have to pay speeding tickets.

1-2 weeks in Paris?? Paris isn't that nice.
I'd probably do a detour to Berlin instead of Hamburg though, it's one of the most awesome cities in Europe.

Portugal is better in the summer though.
When do they make new countries in Europe so I have somewhere new to go to?

Come to London!

Everyone else has buggered off now....

Hi btw:rose:

Yeah, I always return while you sleep or work. I do it on purpose, just to force you to catch up ;)
How's life? And more importantly, how's the Mario room coming along?

Yea, you are so mean to me :(

Life is screwing me as usual, and not in the happy fun way. But the Mario room is coming along slowly, my friends had to go back to school so now one of them has worked out about 8 hrs or so a week he can spend on the room. He is supposed to be by today, after he does some touch-ups I'll post new pics. Got a koopa and the begining of waves.

I'm sure it'll be worth all the waiting time. And I'm really looking forward to the pictures (wow, I truly have little in my life at the moment;))

I certainly hope so. Well he was supposed to show up like 2 hrs ago so probably no painting today, lol.

That comic is exactly how I feel!

I'm not sure why Abby has decided this treat I have is for her going outside, but making her run back and forth across my condo is fun :)

Eurail passes are 35% off if you're 25 or younger.

The big week-long conference in my research area is in Paris. They also co-locate several smaller conferences in my research area around the big one every year. So there's a 3 day conference in Stockholm before the main one, and there's two different week-long ones in Paris and London right after the main one (and one in Slovakia after those two). So some of those things are non-negotiable.

Say the word and we'll be glad to bomb the shit out of some place to split it in half.

Did he ever show up?

I love how stupid dogs/animals can be. It makes me feel smart :D

Makes sense why you're going to those places then :)

I don't think we need help blowing things up. We're pretty good at it too, as long as it's inside our own countries.

Not as good as we are. And we're just dying for a traditional war, one that we can really knock out of the park.

Nah, he had a paper he had to write so he didn't come by.

lol Yea, later she decided the best sleeping place was with under one of my legs with her head wedged up between my thighs >< I'm not sure why she loves sleeping in positions that have me constantly nearly crushing her little body.

Nerd Here...waiting for the hook up part. I got some free time so PM me ladies.

Ah, I need to post a couple pics, progress is slow bit there are updates and if you think my nerd ends at just 1 room you are sorely mistaken.

Hehe, well when I get home tonight I'll post updates. Might be creepy most places, but I think on Lit it just passed for normal ;)

Very cool, I can't wait.

Yesterday I bought a vintage Zelda statue to go on my wall. :D

Awesome, been spending more of my time cleaning, organizing and saving up for this room than anything else. Looking forward to getting everything back in order to start building up my stuff again.

I ran across some old Great Mouse Detecitve posters I have, probably got them from Disney at some point, and I want to get them framed to give out to my friends who are having baby's now. They must have been park promotion posters or something cause its various characters riding the Alice in Wonderland teacups, lol.
