Well I can definitely understand you on the bored and lonely bit, though my mood is pretty standard for me lately.

I keep aimlessly poking about Lit, to the point I've almost considered putting up a personal. However, I know it would probably lead to flooding my inbox and the idea of wading through it all to attempt to find anyone being genuine is just enough to prevent me from making that mistake.

I'm from Jutland, not Copenhagen. I'll never convince anybody to go there - we're in "war"
I'd pick other places to visit before Denmark but it's alright. It's nice to drive through when going from Germany to Sweden.

I would be going from Sweden to Germany. I think I'll have 4 or 5 days to get from Stockholm to Paris, and am looking for things along the way. Leaders are Copenhagen, Hamburg, Amsterdam, and Brussels/Bruges. Seems a bit ambitious to try and hit them all.

I had contemplated working in the Hague...

My parents went to Bruges last year, so they'll be pushing for that. I'd be doing that trip in mid to late June.

Very early. But I'll have limited time, limited budget, and I want to cram as much as I can into my first trip to Europe. Plus it's a lot more fun to plan for an awesome month in Europe than it is to plan my weekends spent alone in my apartment.

Well, the Europe-trip doesn't sound like it requires much planning either. Of course that might just be because it's so normal for me to travel between those places. If you want the real "European experience" you have to go by train though.

You get to actually go back to those places if you miss out on something, I don't. Also, the entire trip is tentatively along the lines of 3 days in Stockholm, 1 day in Copenhagen, 1 day in Hamburg, 2 days in Amsterdam, 1-2 weeks in Paris, 2-3 weeks all over the UK.

I heard good things about Portugal (in general, not specifically NYE), and it'll be right there.
