Hey, I am a nerd. Always have been. I am proud to be one.

I built the computer I am typing on, and I built it specifically for video games. The video card is getting long in the tooth though so I see upgrades in its future. Also, it is set up in my house where the breakfast area would normally be. It is here so I can use my recipes online while cooking.

I love to play Skyrim and Farcry2. I have several mods running.

I am also a equipment engineer of some note. I have a couple of patents, and several copyrights. Not bragging, just stating facts.

No, I don't have horn-rimmed glasses, or a pocket protector... :rolleyes:

I must be a nerd, cause the first thing I thought of when I saw your user name was Carnage from Spiderman, specifically when he first appeared on the SNES...

I like long walks on the beach... Anime, Manga, Starcraft, Starcraft II, Star Treck (TNG, and Voyager), Star Wars (IV, V, and VI were better and Qui-Gon-Jin I don't care how much force you have a woman's razor does not a communicator make), Mario (All of them), Super Smash Bros, Hell, I have every major game system except the original play station since the SNES was released including the handhelds minus the PS Vita.

I don't cosplay but I like going to them and seeing what people do for them. I played Runescape, WoW, LoL, Morrowind, Skyrim, and I used to work for an online MMORPG in Game Design, several of my features are in production.

I was an Alpha Tester for the Internet Sensation Minecraft, I have the bible according to LOLcat (Thats the New Testament converted into LOLcat speak). I own all of the Halo books too. Hell, I even used to play the old MUD based games.

So yes, I'm a nerd and I'm proud of it, and I CAN jump on the 16th pixel of a block in Mario.

That would be the correct Carnage, my fav Spiderman character that will never be in a movie :( (or at least accurately done in any movie with less than an R rating). As a female I felt the name needed a fem slant so I came up with Sister of Carnage :)

For whatever reason, I never got into Diablo.

It was right before my time as a REAL gamer and I've always been a console gamer not a PC gamer. One of my biggest weakpoints, that an I'm a MAC not a PC.

Granted I am in the process of planning and building my Gaming PC for gaming, it involves liquid cooling an intel i7 proc,two ASUS motherboards, between 8 and 16GB of ram, two solid state HD's and two 7200RPM 500GB mirrors.

The reason for the dual boards, is so that I can actually set up a server in one half of the box independent from the game side of the machine.

oh, I meant as characters of the story. It's a game to kill monsters, level up, but equipment, bang your teammates... You know. Normal. ;)

Carnage comments: The game I remember is maximum carnage. It got damn hard near the end. he has got to be the best spiderman villain. Because, sure, there's hobgoblin and whatever... But it's like comparing lex luthor with lobo (when he's being evil, of course)

Yep I had that too, and the tape of the title song by Green Day (I think that's who did it). Nice to hear I'm not the only one that feels that way about him :)
 
I'm writing the 5th chapter in my story and I get interrupted by unexpected visitors, so I pretend to be playing PS3... how about there? What's up?
