While I'm here, hello everyone! If you're wondering where I've been, I've been quite busy. Last week was training at a new job, this week I've started taking aikido and tomorrow I start kendo training as well.

I bash plenty of stuff with only a vague idea as to what it's about . Go ahead, ask me how I feel about Harry Potter .

It should have stayed a trilogy, but I bet it'll be leagues better than Transformers 3 or cars 2.

Probably should have, but it was a nice trilogy story. like how they shouldn't have made episodes 2&3 of star wars but they did.

I decided it sucked when I saw it in a book catalog in 5th grade, and my opinion really hasn't changed much since then. Anything with that level of mass appeal in the US has to pander to the lowest common denominator, and can't be that intelligent. I also liked how everybody was building up the final book to be some great literary masterpiece, and speculating about a twist ending, and then it's just like "lulz, bad guy dies, just another stupid fuckin' kid book".

Even if it wasn't on the list, they probably wouldn't have minded if you had picked something classical with actual literary value to read. I had to do that a lot growing up to keep school interesting.

I was too busy being an orchestra geek to keep school interesting lol.

Between 6-8 hours of rehearsal a week and private lessons..

you pick whats on the list and get it read quick

To be fair they seem to have removed the worst things about the sequels (Bloom and Knightley) and they've kept Geoffrey Rush, so it could end up being a bit of mindless fun.

I can't believe I've entered this thread to defend the POTC films in all honesty. I've got good taste in films... no really I do!
