Actually a cheesecake is a custard tart. It gets the term "cake" from the flour incorporated into the cheese custard prior to baking.

I'm a culinary student I know these things.

It's a tart depending on the crust though, it's you're just using graham cracker crumb or oreo crumb etc. then it's not really a tart.

Also you tell women what they wanna hear when it comes to desserts and we pretend that making truffles are incredibly difficult.
