Need Help resizing my avatar

Could someone please help me resize the attached pic for my avatar? I tried a couple of the picture software programs on my computer but I am obviously graphics challenged.

Sorry Mona, Photoshop couldnt do any better than this. THe penciling is too fine of a line.

A little contrast adjust, and a bit of cropping, and It's just a bit better than Tropism's attempt -- still not great as an AV though.
