I have only been to Alabama 3 or 4 times - but the people I met there were so wonderful, and several times I was at a evening BBQ which is a cherished memory of my time there.

Two trips to Montgomery to visit family many years ago, and a business trip to Opelika in the late 90’s.

They’re a hot dog place called chris hot dog in Montgomery that supposed to be good . I am gonna get down that way soon and try it out

They're in the fields across the road. Can tell when they're on the hunt. Neighbor has 3 calves he's watching over.

Thank God for AC. No, I mean literally, thank Him. I've been in many a church that the AC either broke, or the leadership had said "oh, it is only hot a few days, we don't need AC!"

Coyotes calling from down in the creek bottoms..

I live in the suburbs, with a lot of forest around, and there is a colony of coyotes that get to calling. Not the stereotypical "coyote howl," but the other vocalizations they do. In the dark of the night, it can sound chilling. I love it.

Thank God for AC. No, I mean literally, thank Him. I've been in many a church that the AC either broke, or the leadership had said "oh, it is only hot a few days, we don't need AC!"

We have two tenant congregations that use our building in the afternoon. I think we're going to ask them to set up in the fellowship hall, where it's at least a little cooler. By afternoon the sanctuary will be completely miserable (not that it wasn't this morning).
