I live in the suburbs, with a lot of forest around, and there is a colony of coyotes that get to calling. Not the stereotypical "coyote howl," but the other vocalizations they do. In the dark of the night, it can sound chilling. I love it.

Fox mating calls are eerie to hear... but the most alarming is a Bobcat.. It raises the hair on the back of your neck and kick starts your Fight or Flight response.
