No, this is not an advertisement.

In fact, I am not even going to mention the name of this wonderful device that freed me with having to deal with AT&T and their horrible landline home telephone service.

With a one-time purchase price of the device, I get free long distance plus caller-id for only $3.71 a month.

The only caveat is that you must have cable internet service or DSL.

If your power every goes out, your callers will still be able to contact you and leave a message. That is because your voicemail will be recorded on their internet site if your home phone answering machine is not working or turned off.

I just wanted to share this with others because I have always hated AT&T and now is my chance to rid them from my life.

I kept my same phone number and now don't have to deal with long distance charges and paying extra for caller-id.

Who has a land line anymore?

I do.

It works. Everytime. All the time— without exception.

No dropped calls— ever.
Excellent fidelity— without fail.

No contracts.
No fine print.
No new phone required every 24 months.
No fast-talking salespeople.

$60 bill EVERY MONTH

My cell is about to change to a new carrier with a plan discounted through the corporation, just have a few more details to determine.
$75.00/mo
Unlimited local and North American long distance.
Unlimited international text.
5 GB data.
And a $500 bill credit bonus - 6 months free. This is a 3 yr contract.
Not sure yet if I can port my old phone or need a new one.
In any case an iPhone 5 16GB or a BB Z10 are $149.00 so no no biggie. Samsung S4 $179.00

Gee, you're getting ripped off. My phone bill is $1.70 a month.

I use google talk/google voice a lot. Cost $20 to transfer a number there. I do have a landline too which I rarely use but I did last weekend when my cell was being weird as was the broadband.

Take that AT&T and shove your phone service up your ass!

Actually, it was a credit card debit, but it really doesn't matter, does it?
