Grey's Anatomy and Gilmore Girls

I don't know what happened to Gilmore in Oz. I think Rory had just started college and it never returned to our screens again.

Well, yes, it's crap, but we have good crap here. :D

Yep, I would hope I only watch good crap, and not bad crap :D

I do like American Idol - but we don't get every season.

I also like the "So you think you can dance" - they only showed season 2 in Oz. I never realised there was so many dancing styles, and stuff I never heard of, like crimping.

I have to confess that I've seen only a few Aussie TV spots, and they were all commercials. But they were a lot hotter than anything on TV here in the States. ;)

I am totally sweet on Battlestar Gallactica. I seriously can't get enough of the darkness and especially intelligence of the narrative. I love the mythology vs. religion question and fighting with myself on "well, who are the bad guys really?" Just when you think you've made your decision, the show throws you for a loop and you have to ponder it all over again. I particularly LOVED the season 3 ender. I am not sure there's ever been a cooler season finale.

Just finished watching the original series. I can definitely see where some of the story lines came from, but lets talk CHEESE! As an aside I have no intention of watching Battlestar 1980 (maybe). lol

I am a puzzle person and love the new tactics that TV writers are using in their sci-fi and fantasies. It's much more refreshing and exciting than formatted and reality tv, IMO. Still, I do love CSI Vegas and was damned unhappy that Gil Grisham didn't end up with Lady Heather. They were so PERFECT for each other because they were in essence so much alike.

Personally, I disagree with those who would think TV a passive activity. It's actually quite active. Although, I did in Uni argue that soap opera watchers were indeed passive. Well, age and experience changed my op.

Lost is another show I enjoy.
Carnivale was one I enjoyed, but became too expensive to produce, or so I heard.
Rome is another one.

I don't get to see the Colbert Report any more, but the guy is brilliant. I enjoy the snippits I can get from Jon Stewart.

American Dad (completely hilarious for a toon).

I used to enjoy the history channel - some PBS docos, but these days all the docos are in Portuguese and I can only understand 1/3 of them. Still, I do try to watch.
