For those of us who want to have an independence in our beliefs and an open but sensitive approach to our relationships, in which we see diverity as a good thing and people having dis-similar opinions to our own as a benefit, there does not seem to me any particular religion which does the trick.
So I want to stay catholic because I am one, but I fancy being Bahai too. A lovely, lovely girl in Grenoble persuaded me about that. And now that Black_Bird has taught me how to spell Buddhist, I'll be that too. Rasta, of course, but I'm a bit wary of smoking too much dope because it frizzes up your hair - otherwise Ok. I just like to keep mine wavy. Hinduism because of Ghandi, must be on the list.
Then I can be properly a multifarian. No priests, no gurus - or just a transitory phase on the path to enlightenment.
Anyone else want to be a mutifarian?
Oh, the important question. Who do we fight? I don't know, any ideas?
